'I am so happy and proud': Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gushes as she makes chart history with fifth number one
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini became the first British female artist to have five number one solo singles on Sunday evening.
Thanks to her latest release, I Don't Care, Cheryl pushed Ed Sheeran off the top spot and received her crown as queen of the charts.
Taking to Twitter after scoring the number one, the 31-year-old singer thanked her fans for all their support and dedicated her new achievement to them.

The X Factor judge tweeted: 'So it is official! Today you got me my 5th no 1 solo single!! You will stop at nothing &We did it !! WE MADE HISTORY!!!!'
She added: 'Thank you to all of you from the bottom of my ❤️ for all of your support and congrats but this one is all YOURS !!!!! #havingamoment'
Overwhelmed, Cheryl then wrote: 'Wow what a roller coaster of a day! I am so happy and proud of us for achieving the no1 and place in history today'.

Cheryl's previous four number one singles include Fight For This Love, Promise This, Call My Name and Crazy Stupid Love.
Earlier this week the popstar, who launched her solo career in 2009, took to her Instagram to share the exciting news of a possible number one.
She wrote: 'WOW. So we're no1 on the official mid week chart. do you know what that means !!!!! that means we could be making history this weekend of it stays there !!! (sic)'.

2014 has proved to be a good year for Cheryl as this summer she surprised her fans when she announced she had married Jean-Bernard following their whirlwind romance.
But in a new interview with Marie Claire, Cheryl, 31, said she didn't understand what all the fuss was about when it came to her new double-barrelled moniker.
‘It’s come quite naturally, you know. People are so ignorant about it, they just start calling us Cheryl, but I’ll take that, whatever.’
