From Bond girl to international pin-up: Eva Green looks red hot in striking new Campari calendar images

She's one of the most classically beautiful women in Hollywood.

And Eva Green oozes old school glamour in the stunning new shots for the 2015 Campari calendar, which sees the French-born actress don a selection of standout red gowns as she poses for series of dream-like images.

This year's 16th edition, called Mythology Mixology, celebrates the little-known stories linked to twelve of the drinks company's best-loved cocktails.

Perfect pin-up: Eva Green has been chosen to front the 2015 Campari calender, following in the footsteps of Penelope Cruz and Uma Thurman

The calendar was shot by acclaimed and exhibited fine art photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten, the first ever woman to get behind the lens on the Campari Calendar.Eva follows in the footsteps of screen beauties Penelope Cruz and Uma Thurman, who have both posed for the company in the past.

Eva commented: 'For me, this project was about much more than simply producing a Calendar.

Telling a story: The shots all reference iconic Campari cocktails, including the Americano in 1933, which is said to have been named after Primo Carnera, the first Italian to win the heavyweight boxing title in New York

'It was about telling a series of stories in an imaginative, creative and beautiful way – and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved.

'This year, those stories are closer to the heart of Campari than ever before and I personally feel very honoured to have been part of that.

'The 2015 Calendar is a real testament to Campari as a brand and seeing all of the stories together in one collection just proves that no matter how old these recipes may get, there will always be a firm place for Campari within our contemporary world.'

Eva was styled in a selection of top designer gowns by the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Alaia and Christian Louboutin.

The Campari Calendar, of which only 9,999 copies are printed, will be internationally distributed to friends of Campari around the world.

'What I loved most about this year’s theme was the flexibility it gave me as a photographer,' Julia commented.

'My own work is all about telling stories so shooting the Calendar felt very close to my heart.'

Meanwhile, Eva joked she was like an 'old lady' today during the unveiling of the calendar in London on Wednesday.

The actress has lived in London for several years but doesn't have many recommendations on cool clubs and bars because she doesn't actually go out drinking very much.

She said: 'I'm quite boring actually, I love London because of the parks, I love walking and nice restaurants - St John's is my favourite restaurant ever.

'I'm not a party girl, I'm like an old lady so if I have an aperitif I have it at home.'

Despite her screen work, the French beauty insists she has no desire to ever move to Hollywood - joking that she wouldn't be able to cope as she can't drive a car.

She said: 'I've been living here for eight or nine years now. I think I'd die in Hollywood, I cant drive...'
