All the single ladies! Blonde bombshells Perrie Edwards and Ellie Goulding eclipse red carpet rivals in feisty black outfits at star-studded BBC Music Awards
Their ex-boyfriends may be big in the music industry too, but single stars Perrie Edwards and Ellie Goulding owned the red carpet all by themselves on Thursday afternoon.
Serving up a subtle reminder to their exes about what they were missing out on, the blonde bombshells eclipsed their red carpet rivals in the glamour stakes at the BBC Music Awards 2015 and proved that the single status looks pretty good on them.
Zayn Malik's former fiancee Perrie, 22, was feisty in a thigh-skimming skirt and thigh-high boots while Ellie, 28 - recently single from her split from McBusted's Dougie Poynter - was glamorous in a long lace skirt.

Perrie blew her Little Mix bandmates Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall out of the water with her Tomb Raider-style plait and copper studded ensemble.
She lead the pack at the Birmingham Genting Arena, which also drew attendance from Zayn's former bandmates One Direction, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan.
The two former X Factor bands managed to avoid crossing paths when it came to the red carpet, and thus Little Mix's red carpet moment was preserved.
Ellie, whose separation from McBusted's Dougie due to individual work schedules is less than one-month gone, may also have been feeling a little awkward about 1D's appearance.

The Starry Eyed singer was recently spotted cosying up to her ex Niall Horan; and at the time looked pretty pleased about the reunion despite her relationship heartache.
Ellie and Niall are thought to have dated around the time of 2013's MTV Music Awards, something she recently confirmed in an interview.
Regardless, Ellie will have been pleased to have made such an effort on Thursday since she arrived at the annual event looking smoking hot and confident.
Her legs were teased beneath a long lace skirt that shot a glimpse at her miniskirt and black sandals beneath but proved pretty troublesome as she was pictured parting her it at the seams to avoid tripping over.

The boys couldn't be missed of course, owing to their flamboyant choice of red carpet styling for Thursday's event.
While Harry chose striped bell-bottom trousers, his pal Niall wore a pink satin bomber and the other two boys in patterned tops that were more parred down the rest.
And to host the event, a glittering Fearne Cotton was in rainbow shades that made up a particularly dazzling sequinned minidress with red caged heels to boot.
She was joined by fellow host Chris Evans as well as BBC radio and TV veteran Jo Whiley.
