Selena Gomez had her heart broken over and over again during her four year relationship with Justin Bieber.
So it's understandable that the Wizards Of Waverly Place vet is facing some challenges as she navigates the dating world again.
On Monday the 23-year-old Hands To Myself crooner - who is on her Revival Tour at the moment - confessed to the June issue of Marie Claire magazine that she is meeting new men (she has been linked to DJ Zedd, Samuel Krost and Charlie Puth), but she is being extremely cautious with her heart.

Her logic: 'I don't trust anybody,' she confessed. 'So dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun'
'I've been dating,' said the Good For You crooner. 'I've been having the best time.'
But she is held back, most likely from hurtful experiences with Bieber, who confessed in his hit single Sorry that he cheated on his last love. 'I don't trust anybody,' she confessed. 'So dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun.'
And being asked about the Canadian pop icon - who has been linked to Kourtney Kardashian and Hailey Baldwin since October - can be annoying for her. 'I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life,' she admitted.

'I would leave a room feeling defeated, feeling embarrassed, but I would always make sure to put that smile on my face because I wasn't going to let them get to me.'
As far as the direction her career has gone in, she said that her managers and agents bring her choices but the final say is hers. 'They make great choices, but I make the decisions,' added the Texas native.
'I wanted to do things that I knew were going to be me. I don't want people to look at me as someone who is just this celebrity person.'
She also said she went out of her way to make sure that she was making the right moves: 'I had to not be afraid to ask dumb questions, which means I asked a million things about ever single step that I was making.'

This comes after she hit the first leg of her tour in Vegas and also performed her new song, Feel Me on the opening night.
As she poured her heart out on stage, the new track's lyrics appeared as though they may have been written about her ex Bieber.
Lines which included 'no one loved you like I loved you' and 'we were one in a million' was only the beginning as the brunette beauty rocked her Sin City concert.
'I gave you space and time and now you’re telling me you miss me,' she sang.
In March Bieber posted a sweet Instagram throwback of the pair sharing a tender kiss.
Justin summed the snapshot with a single word: 'feels.'

Since that post the 22-year-old Sorry singer has been linked again to unofficial girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, 19.

But after a busy night of dancing and belting out her hits, the beauty headed to an after party at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
Selena looked stunning for the red carpet event in a slinky silver gown, which clung to her incredible figure and allowed her to show some skin.
The pop star went bra-less and flashed her cleavage thanks to a plunging neckline, while a thigh-high slit left her slender legs on show.

According to People, her close pal Orlando Bloom joined her at the VIP table for some drinks and was seen kissing her on the cheek, but a source says the pair are 'absolutely just friends'.
Selena had performed at the Mandalay Bay Events Center earlier in the evening, while wearing an array of glitzy and revealing stage ensembles.
The former Disney star's set list included recent hits Same Old Love and Good For You, as well as some of her older songs such as Come &Get It and Love You Like A Love Song.
Selena, who had DNCE and Bea Miller as her opening acts, admitted in a recent interview that she couldn't wait for the start of her tour.

The world tour will see the hit-maker perform in the United States and Canada before travelling to Asia in July.
Selena will then be performing throughout Europe in October and November, concluding her tour in Mexico on December 18.
The beauty's representatives revealed to The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week that she is planning to donate money from ticket sales to Alliance for Lupus Research.
Selena previously had to cancel her Stars Dance tour in 2013 in order to undergo chemotherapy treatment for the chronic inflammatory disease.
