It's not often that a celebrity navigating the potential pitfalls of a red carpet is thankful for a strong gust of wind - not unless you are Marilyn Monroe that is.
But far from causing an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction, model Iman got a helping hand from the elements when the blustery weather showed off her stunning Valentino gown to its full glory.
However David Bowie's wife appeared completely unfazed as the full length, red dress blew upwards on Thursday night.

The 57 year-old was attending the amfAR Cinema Against Aids gala ball at the glitzy Plaza Hotel in New York.
Iman - full name Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid - was one of a host of A-listers to attend the annual fundraiser.
It was one of five annual balls around the world which have helped the charitable foundation raise more than $70 million since it was formed at the height of the AIDS crisis in 1985.

Iman and her rockstar husband, who have just celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary, are both supporters of several charities.
The Somalian-born beauty is currently a spokesperson for the Keep a Child Alive program and is also an ambassador for Save The Children.
Her husband has worked with War Child and Mines Advisory Group - both humanitarian organisations.

The couple - have one daughter together, 13 year-old Lexi - also have busy lives outside of their charitable work.
Iman runs a successful beauty company - Iman Cosmetics. While David, 66, has recently released his first album in years, The Next Day, which met with critical acclaim.
He is currently performing a string of dates in London.
