He's met numerous pop stars over the years, with The Spice Girls, Take That and the Pussycat Dolls on his list of meetings.
But on Friday it was The Saturdays' turn to be greeted by Prince Charles.
The girl group giggled as they each took a turn to shake his hand during a visit to a Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospice in Solihull.

The fivesome of course dressed to impress as they usually do, but even more so to become acquainted with royalty.
Rochelle, who recently returned to the group after coming off her maternity leave, wore a black frock with a yellow blazer over the top.
And she was clearly delighted to meet him as she wrote on her Twitter page following the event: 'Today I met Prince Charles....just another day at the office...'

Frankie who is currently pregnant meanwhile upped her own maternity wear as she opted for a splash of colour in a turquoise patterned dress.
Vanessa White looked more girlie than usual in a floral frock and seemed in a particularly good mood as she cracked up laughing while sharing a joke with his majesty.

Joker: Una Healy's husband Ben Foden entertained the girls when they weren't being spoken to by Charles

Una Healy went for a blue printed dress and wore her hair back, while she brought her husband Ben Foden along for the festivities.
At one point the rugby player stood in the middle of all the girls and made them laugh with his chatter.
Mollie King completed the line-up and of course looked immaculate as she turned up in a white and gold printed shift dress.

Una wrote on her own Twitter page: 'Amazing morning at the official opening of the @mariecurieuk hospice centre in Solihull with HRH Prince Charles.'
The girls all seemed to get on with the Prince, who himself seemed in a jovial mood as he met the pop stars as well as the staff at the hospice.
