Despite the autumn season, temperatures are still balmy and warm in Los Angeles.

And Kylie Jenner is clearly taking advantage of the sun, posting a couple of Instagrams showing herself in a bikini this week.

The 17-year-old's latest post shows her sporting a white two piece while posing next to a pillar alongside the cryptic caption: 'You were my sun.'

The brunette reality star also plumped for an arty take for her latest self portrait, with the black and white picture showing her staring moodily at the patio.

Earlier this week, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a shot featuring herself in the same bikini with a wistful message to her fans.

Posing in front of a mirrored sliding door, she captioned her selfie: 'Still feels like summer to me'.

Over the weekend - while her mother Kris and sisters Kim and Kendall were enjoying Paris Fashion Week - Kylie took the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with her father Bruce.

The star got an affectionate hug from her former Olympian dad, 64, as they left an eatery in Calabasas. California.

It was a great chance for the duo to bond after news that Bruce's wife Kris Jenner has officially filed for divorce from her estranged husband.

Meanwhile the reality star reportedly sees herself as 'the new Katy Perry' and is said to be hoping to start a music career.

A source told Radar Online: 'Kylie has found her calling in life — to be a singer! She is in training right now with vocal coach and producer, Tim Carter.

'Kylie is now working on her first single! She is telling everyone that she knows she is going to be the next Katy Perry.'

Tim Carter is the brains behind her friend Willow Smith’s hit Whip My Hair, and has also worked with the likes of Jay Z and Beyonce.
