Her outfit may have been very minimal, but Rihanna didn't forget to offset her outfit with something quirky on Friday night.

Stepping out to her favourite dinner spot, the sexy singer put on an extremely daring display in a slinky gold slip dress, adding a sporty baseball cap to give it a signature spin.

Braless and barelegged, the 27-year-old was highly glamorous, making strides to Itaian eatery Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica with a long fur coat just slipping off her shoulders.

Her white faux fur, which skimmed her strappy silver silver as she walked, did little to cover her modesty as she let it drape off one shoulder and unveil the metallic nightwear garment.

Rihanna went without a bra and tied her purple tresses into a low-fuss bun to leave her decolletage bare in a sultry fashion.

The pop singer, though making a very eye-catching entrance, concealed her appearance slightly with the low baseball cap, which was certainly not in tune with her racy display but on point for making a bold sartorial statement.

The latest uber-stylish appearance comes just as Rihanna made yet more waves in the fashion industry.

Rihanna this week launched her own beauty and stylist agency called Fr8me, which will help artists to get on board with big projects such as booking commercials and ad campaigns as well as being drafted in for editorial photoshoots and red-carpet styling.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Rihanna gushed about her latest venture, on which she's working with managing partner Benoit Demouy.

'Hair, makeup and styling play an important role in creativity,' said the popstar. 'I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do.

'We are lucky enough to have some of the best artists at Fr8me. But I also have a soft spot for finding new talent with extraordinary skills!'

Rihanna has previously discussed taking a step back from her music career to focus on fashion endeavors and was recently thought to have controversially pulled out of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at the last minute.

Already, the Umbrella singer - a front row fashion regular and devoted to noteworthy red carpet styling - is creative directive of Puma and has her own line for Mac cosmetics.
