Appearing on the show alongside actor Will Arnett and comedian Jimmy Carr, the group were asked about stage mishaps - and Ariana certainly had one to remember.
Speaking about the incident on her Honeymoon tour, Ariana explains that the incident happened when she was using a rising platform to make an entrance, but on the opening night in February 2015 something went drastically wrong.
'Opening night of my Honeymoon tour I almost died,' she explained. 'For real, I'm not exaggerating. I usually exaggerate but I'm not.'
Painting quite the picture the former child star went on explaining she was going to appear thanks to 'one of those toaster things' which pop a person up and onto the stage.

However just as she was starting to sing the opening seconds of her hit Love Me Harder, something unexpected happened when the wooden plank she was on was sent flying upwards by a rope snapping.
She said: 'The thing was still going up so I was being pushed against the stage, and it was some Indiana Jones s*** and it was really scary.
'I had to superman myself out of the thing, and my guitar guy helped me get out and then I went on stage a different way. It was really scary.'

Clearly slightly shocked by the near-death experience Ariana had just rattled off so nonchalantly, a shocked Alan exclaims: 'But you nearly died!'
However Jimmy appears to be enthralled with the tale, chipping in: 'It sounds like you were in the trash compacter in Star Wars.'
To which an excited Ariana exclaims: 'Yes, yes! I was Carrie Fisher in the trash compactor.'
'Yes, yes! I was Carrie Fisher in the trash compactor' Talking to Alan and fellow guest Jimmy Carr she likened the experience of being crushed beneath the stage to the infamous scene from Star Wars: A New Hope

The singer's appearance on the Channel 4 chat show comes hot on the heels of her latest single Dangerous Woman, which sees the singer embrace a racier side of her personality.
In an interview on Radio 1 earlier in the week she delved into the inspiration for the unusual video, which sees her don a racy latex bunny outfit, she said the song make the singer feel like a 'black latex super-bunny woman'.
Speaking to host Nick Grimshaw, she said: 'We are doing something weird. We are doing two visuals because this song makes me feel two kinds of ways.
'It makes me feel sexy and glamourous and I wanted to do a simpler more glam-themed video. And then I wanted to do another video because it makes me feel also kind of like a super version of myself.'
'It makes me feel like inside me is a black latex super-bunny woman,' she went on to reveal. 'So there is a simple approach and a weirder more cinematic conceptual bizarre video.'
The rest of Ariana's interview can be caught on Alan Carr: Chatty Man, which airs on Thursday March 31 on Channel 4 at 10pm.
