Beginning with Daenerys Targaryan (Emilia Clarke) leading her army ominously towards King's Landing while Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) utters intense words.
Menacingly, he says: 'Are you afraid? You should be. You're in the great game now. And the great game is terrifying.'
Famed for its violent scenes and unpredictable culling of major characters, it appears the trend is set to continue with the fanatically religious High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) proclaiming: 'We are sinful creatures. We deserve death. We all do.'
