Lupita was absolutely glowing in the promo photo, in which she sported a sleeveless, yellow dress with button embellishments.
The fitted number showcased the actress's toned arms, and she can be seen staring intensely at the camera as she pets the face of a beautiful wolf.
A bit of natural make-up highlighted the Oscar winner's natural beauty, with her sporting a shiny, pink lipstick and accessorizing with small earrings and a few, simple rings.
Her character, Raksha, is described on the studio's official Instagram account as 'a mother wolf who cares deeply for all her pups, including man-cub Mowgli (played by Neel Sethi).'
'She is the protector, the eternal mother,' Lupita said, of the caring wolf, adding: 'The word Raksha actually means protection in Hindi.'
'I felt really connected to that, wanting to protect a son that isn’t originally hers but one she’s taken for her own.'
Scarlett modeled a floor-length, red halterneck dress that highlighted her trim figure, and was coupled with strappy, black heels.

She looked regal sitting cross-legged with one arm delicately resting on her lap as the other could be seen petting the massive python that she voices in the upcoming picture.
The mother-of-one sported a natural make-up look as well, and that, along with her pixie cut, highlighted her chiseled bone structure as she fiercely stared down the camera.
Her character Kaa 'uses her voice and hypnotic gaze to entrance Mowgli' who 'can't resist her captivating embrace.'
Of the enticing character, Scarlett shared: 'Kaa seduces and entraps Mowgli with her storytelling. She's the mirror into Mowgli's past. The way she moves is very alluring, almost coquettish.'

Not to be trifled with: Idris Elba looked relaxed for a man leaning up against a giant, Bengal tiger, though of course the CGI image represented his character Shere Khan, who 'reigns with fear' and has it out for Mowgli due to his 'hatred of humans'

Idris Elba looked relaxed in a long-sleeved black button down and coordinating, fitted trousers as he could be seen leaning against a Bengal tiger.
The Golden Globe winner looked pensive as he rested one arm on the massive, CGI cat, which represents his character Shere Khan.
The beautiful beast is described as bearing 'the scars of man, which fuel his hatred of humans' such as young Mowgli, who he sees as a threat.
'Shere Khan reigns with fear,' Idris said, adding: 'He terrorizes everyone he encounters because he comes from a place of fear.'
Intimidating: Legendary actor Ben Kingsley looked sophisticated in a suit as he sat upright beside a large, black panther - his onscreen alter ego Bagheera, who acts as Mowgli's protector

Meanwhile, Ben Kingsley could be seen posing in his portrait beside a friendly big cat, his character Bagheera the panther.
The Oscar winner looked sophisticated in a tailored, black suit, worn with a soft grey button down.
He sat upright with a hand on each knee, as his animal counterpart, a large CGI panther, stood right by his side.
The seemingly intimidating creature is actually nurturing in the film, and described as feeling as if 'it's his duty to help the man-cub [Mowgli] depart with dignity when it's time for him to leave his jungle home.'
'Formidable' A massive ape dominated the frame in Christopher Walken's shot, as he voices the character of King Louie, who is '12 feet tall' and 'as charming as he is intimidating when he wants to be'

'Bagheera is Mowgli’s adoptive parent,' Ben explained. 'His role in Mowgli’s life is to educate, to protect and to guide. My Bagheera was military - he’s probably a colonel.'
The legendary actor added: 'He is instantly recognizable by the way he talks, how he acts, and what his ethical code is.'
Christopher Walken - sporting a black suit and maroon tie - was dwarfed by his onscreen alter ego in his promotional photo.
The award-winning actor could be seen calmly sitting, a bit hunched over, in a dark room, while an enormous ape took up almost the entirety of the frame behind him.
Regal: Giancarlo Esposito donned an all-black ensemble as he, too posed beside a beautiful wolf, his character, an 'alpha-male' named Akela 'who shoulders the responsibility of his pack'

His character - King Louie - is 'a formidable ape who desperately wants the secret of Man's deadly 'red flower' - fire -' and turns to Mowgli as he's 'convinced he has the information he seeks.'
'King Louie is huge - 12 feet tall,' Christopher said, adding: 'But he's as charming as he is intimidating when he wants to be.'
Finally, Giancarlo Esposito is pictured standing powerfully beside another wolf in his promotional photo, as he sports a black suit and button down.

The Breaking Bad alum voices 'alpha-male' Akela, 'who shoulders the responsibility of his pack' and 'welcomes Mowgli to the family,' though he worries the young boy will 'compromise their safety.'
'Akela is a fierce patriarch of the wolf pack,' he said. 'He believes the strength of the pack lies in what each and every wolf offers. He's a great leader, a wise teacher.'
The Jon Favreau-directed picture - for which Bill Murray voices free-spirited bear Baloo - hits theaters April 15.
