She was forced to skip her family Thanksgiving celebrations on account of her busy touring schedule.

But Selena Gomez managed to make her work look more than just a little bit fun on Thursday, as she was elevated high in the air by muscular cheerleaders in the middle of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to entertain the football fans at halftime.

The 21-year-old entertainer was supporting The Salvation Army as she stormed the oval in the middle of the Oakland Raiders vs. Dallas Cowboys game to put on a stunning show.

All her dedicated grueling workouts have clearly paid off, as Selena demonstrated when she showed off her toned pins in a skimpy pair of red hot pants and sheer bodysuit.

The tight red leather hot pants were held up at the waist with a silver chain belt, whilst her upper body was clad in an array of see-through fabric and strips of black and red leather.

The pretty Disney star wore a sexy pair of gold gladiator sandals which managed to work their way all the way up to her knees.

Later in the performance, Selena donned a black leather and gold chained gladiator belt, decorated with thick tassels which she used to amplify her shimmying.

Her famous long brunette tresses were styled in a thick array of voluminous curls and a sexy dash of red eyeshadow decorated her eyes to match her ensemble.

The star put on a ripping show with the array of talented cheerleaders and their impressively stacked muscles, which they used at one point to lift the star high in the air.

Selena's Thanksgiving show wasn't all just for fun and games, either.

The Salvation Army was also involved in the day's festivities, kicking off the Red Kettle Campaign with the aim to raise money for families in need.

Nearly $150 million was raised last year at the same football match, and this year Selena was sure to tweet that she was 'proud to be performing for a great organization.'

They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and this certainly seems to be the case for gorgeous girls, Sam, 22, and Billie Faiers, 23.

The sisters were recently pictured enjoying a dip in a swimming pool along with their 43-year-old mother, Suzanne Wells, and the three blondes could easily pass as sisters.

Looking like they had stepped straight out of a fashion magazine shoot, the girls looked chic in co-ordinating bikinis.

Sam wore a gorgeous purple tie-dyed two-piece which had a cream necklace detail attached to it and her sister, Billie showcased her curves in a brighter orange number.

Their gorgeous mum opted for a scalloped-edge yellow bikini and all three girls looked slim and tanned.

Sam recently explained that she refused to join her former flame, Joey Essex in the Australian jungle for hit ITV show, I'm A Celebrity.

On Friday, she told This Morning: 'I'm not going out there. I wouldn't do it, not only because I don't want to embarrass myself, but I wouldn't do that to Joey. This is his moment, it's his time in the jungle.'

And she seems pleased to have been able to give her opinion on the matter after saying she received a backlash from those who thought she would enter the camp.

But that doesn't mean that she isn't getting her fair share of sunshine if these pictures from a recent trip to Dubai are anything to go by.

The girls were there to celebrate Ferne McCann's mum's birthday, with Gill Tweeting: 'I am having such a fantastic time in sunny Dubai....... Lucky girl xxxxx.'

Sam, like the rest of her glam family seems to work hard on her figure and recently Tweeted: '#photoshoot 9 days no alcohol, no carbs & training.'

And on Friday Sam and Billie co-ordinated their looks once again when they attended the world's first shoppablepantomime, eBay's Cinderella: An Inspirational Fair-Retail.

Billie wore a blue shirt and green and blue tartan trousers, while her Sister Sam wore a red tartan blouse and an on-trend red PVC skirt.

She's gone from the feisty Kick Ass heroine to taking on one of the most famous film roles of all time.

And while Chloe Moretz admits that playing Carrie in the remake of the 1976 film was a somewhat daunting prospect, she never had any doubt that she would be able to pull the role off.

She said: 'I knew I could do it inside myself but I know that audiences have never seen me go there before. They've only really only seen me as the fierce, warrior-type character.'

But with a co-star such as Julianne Moore and director like Kimberly Pierce, Chloe managed to fully get into character as Stephen King's bloodied prom queen.

Chloe said of working with Kimberly: 'Having a brilliant director alongside you means that you are guided to places that are very interesting.'

And the respect between Chloe and Julianne, who plays her on-screen mother in the film, is most definitely mutual, with the 52-year-old actress admitting that she was blown away by her teenage co-star's talent.

She is a breakout artist of The X Factor whose first album Heaven impressed both fans and critics, selling over a million copies.

But Liverpudlian Rebecca Ferguson, 27, revealed to the Mail Online that she almost didn't record her second album, Freedom, as she battled depression.

'I was depressed and I remember turning to my label and saying that I am not sure whether I should do this album,' she said.

'They turned to me and said "Becks, take a couple of months off," but in the end I just said no.

'I need to create an album for when you're feeling as bad as I am feeling.

'Hopefully I have created the kind of music to pick you up when you're feeling down.

'And afterwards I did end up feeling better - it was like therapy.'

And it appears Rebecca has come back stronger, and looks stunning in new promotional photos accompanying her new release.

The mum-of-two, Lillie May, 9, and Karl, 7, who said the new album is not only a lot more 'modern' and 'younger' than her previous album, has created a compilation of emotive songs as a result.

'The songs are all about overcoming fears and becoming a woman,' she said.

'They are about just getting on with things even when you're at your lowest, you have to pick yourself up and dust yourself off.'

Something Rebecca has plenty of experience of. The singer is currently in the midst of a law suit with former management company, Modest! who are suing her for breach of contract.

And on top of that there is a police inquiry pending into the people who scammed her out of £100,000 over the past two years.

However the artist believes that as a result, she has learned more in the last two years than in her entire life, adding: I know that sounds pretty said but I'm a stronger person now.

'I think I was just too innocent and naive, was not used to fame and was not used to being in the public eye.

'I wasn't enjoying my time in music for a long while because I was trying to get my head around the business side of things - now I feel ready for it.

'But don't get me wrong, it is still not nice seeing an ugly photo of myself!'

Rebecca, who has been dating childhood friend, Jay, 30, for a year now, said she wanted to change up the sound of her music because she didn't like 'getting place in a box'.

'It's not a hip hop album at all, but I wanted the song My Freedom to have the base of a hip hop song,' she said.

'I did it because people began to pigeonhole me as easy listening and I thought "oh no, that's not actually who I am."

'It turns out that my hardcore fans love the new work, but I've also connected with more people by branching out.'

Rebecca also spoke about her relationship with One Direction's Zayn Malik, putting their relationship down to being thrown into the public eye after both appearing on The X Factor 2010.

She said: 'What is forgotten is they have gone from being normal people to having thousands criticise you saying "why is she doing that?'

'I thought I can relate to you, and he was like "yeah I can relate to you too."

'It has all been a big life lesson.

'We don't speak now, but at the same time if we were to see each other we would be civil.

'We were both going through a crazy time, and I'm old enough now to to look back and know that our relationship came about from being thrown in the public eye.

'It is an easy thing to happen - the same group seeing each other every day, and going through the same emotions.'

Rebecca, who moved from her native Liverpool to Surrey for a short stretch following The X Factor, has returned home and said: 'I missed my friends and family too much.'

She summed up her time in the spotlight by saying: 'I'm just enjoying it now.

'I feel like I've gone through so much and I am finally at a place where I can just enjoy it.'

Rebecca's new album Freedom, will be released by Sony on December 2, and her single, I Hope, on December 1.

She's admitted to talking to Niall Horan in private, and said she hopes the One Direction heartthrob fancies her.

But it would appear Tamera Foster's heart lies elsewhere now that the teen X Factor star has opened up on her feelings for fellow former contestant, Sam Callahan.

Despite appearing close with Niall just a matter of days ago, the 16-year-old singer explained she and Sam - who was ejected from the competition two weeks ago - are 'a unit'.

She told The Sun newspaper: 'Sam and I are close, we are a unit. We understand each other.

She previously said: ‘Yes Niall and I have been talking in private. I hope he fancies me – he’s cool.'
