'I'm actually building my own dress and kind of going really deep into it, and I've never gone so deep into a role before,' Chloë told ETOnline recently, adding: 'Yeah, it's cool, it's a lot of work. Fun, but a lot of work.'
The Hugo actress also told Vanity Fair that she would be entirely changing her hair and her look.
'I’m doing my own take on [the character]. The script is totally different from the [original]. It’s more like the book. It’s a more Black Swan version - it messes with your mind. You’ll see things, and you don’t know if you’ve seen them,' Chloë told the mag.
In 2002, NBC aired a televised version of Carrie with Girl, Interrupted star Angela Bettis in the title role.
