Cheryl Cole joins Girls Aloud at BBC Maida Vale studios

Well, it is Christmas Jumper Day: Cheryl Cole gets festive in novelty knit as she joins Girls Aloud at BBC Maida Vale studios

It's been hailed as Christmas Jumper Day and it seems Cheryl Cole is more than happy to embrace the festive spirit.
The Girls Aloud star turned up to the BBC Maida Vale Studios in London on Friday morning sporting her own take on festive knitwear.
The singer was seen grinning widely as she walked out of her chauffeur driven car wearing an old school retro jumper.

She kept warm in the top, which had a pink, yellow and white pattern, while she finished off her cute look with a small leather skirt underneath.
Cheryl opted for tights to complete the ensemble, while her nails were still painted red from her evening out the night before with bandmate Nicola Roberts and boyfriend Tre Holloway.
Nicola appeared to be missing from the studio visit, while Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding were all in attendance.

Nadine braved the cold more than her bandmates as she went for bare legs, flashing the flesh in a mini polka dot dress and heels.
Although she did keep her coat on as she made her way inside, and tied a bright yellow scarf around her neck.
Harding and Walsh instead went for trousers, with Sarah going for a vibrant pair of printed bottoms with a loose black jumper and her blonde locks worn in a side ponytail.

Girls Aloud delighted fans earlier this year when they confirmed rumours they were reuniting for a new album and tour to celebrate their 10-year anniversary.
And following their recent performance at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball, Cheryl Cole revealed that fans of the show are sure to be thrilled with the tour.
She said: 'It's taken us all this week just to rehearse for the Jingle Bell Ball, so I'm sure there is going to be a lot of rehearsals for the tour as well.
'I'm sure it's going to be spectacular.'
