Glamour girl: Alicia Keys plays a Las Vegas showgirl in her new music video for her single Tears Always Win, that debuted on Thursday
The singer sings about yearning for her lost love in the music video, which shows Alicia holding down two jobs as a showgirl and a nightclub singer.
The music video opens with Alicia wearing a simple grey vest as she stares out a window while belting out the ballad, co-written with Bruno Mars.
'These covers, they keep me warm at night. But they can't take your place 'cause they're never going to hold me tight,' she croons.
Mournful: The music video starts with the 33-year-old staring forlornly out her apartment wedding, singing about wanting to be kept warm at night
All alone: Alicia sits by herself on her bed in her tiny bedroom, staring out at the bright lights of Vegas
In pain: Alicia looked in agony as she placed her hands on her face while belting out the powerful ballad
Time for work: Alicia then leaves her apartment for her long night of dancing and singing
Alicia is then showing making her way to a club where she gets dolled up as a showgirl as she looks mournfully into the mirror.
She wears a headdress and skimpy black satin costume as she sits on a stair backstage while dancers in white feathered costumes move onstage.
Finally, Alicia is shown at her other job playing the piano and singing in a dark, smokey lounge.

Meanwhile, Alicia recently opened up about finding her husband Swizz Beatz 'annoying' when they first met.
'Honestly, I didn't really like him that much,' she said, talking about when she first met the American hip hop artist while they were both teenagers.
'I though he was ostentatious. He'll drive the fastest, brightest car, wear the biggest jewellery, the loudest jacket; everything with him is really over the top,' she admitted.
'I was like, he is so annoying,' she said, reminiscing about when she saw him drive past a restaurant in a huge white Rolls-Royce Phantom.
