Clash of the titans! TV giants Emily VanCamp and Kerry Washington face off in red carpet royal rumble


They are two of the biggest names currently starring on the ABC network.
So no doubt there was a spot of friendly rivallry when Emily Van Camp and Kerry Washington walked down the red carpet at a press event in Los Angeles on Sunday.
No doubt the more prudent of observers would have ruled the face-off a score draw after the saucy pair won admiring glances at the gathering held in the posh Beverly Hills area.

Emily, 27, certainly lived up to her billing as one of the finest fillies in television in a brown suede gown that showed plenty of leg.
Her Revenge co-star Gabriel Mann no doubt felt like the luckiest man around as he escorted the flexible former ballerina into the event venue.
She is certainly riding the crest of a wave as the show's main character Emily Thorne, and is currently waiting to find out if she will finally win a much coveted Teen Choice Award for her portrayal of the show's vengeance seeking heroine.

But she had stiff competition in the race to be the most glamorous face at the Disney|ABC TCA Summer Press Tour.
For there are few who would argue Scandal favourite Kerry Washington looked anything less than fantastic in a red and white patterned dress and Louboutin shoes. 
The Emmy-nominated actress recently admitted she could not believe she is in line for a best actress gong for her turn as crisis manager Olivia Pope.
The 36-year-old said: 'I'm the luckiest broad in showbiz. I just feel really blessed and humbled and grateful for this nomination.'
