But it appears that Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent has either a thick skin or a quick recovery process.

The brunette TV star was spotted enjoying a summer holiday in Ibiza, where she appeared utterly carefree.

Wearing a day-glow pink bikini, the performer was clearly delighted to be on the party island.

Clutching a beer can in her hand, and sporting a pair of designer sunglasses, she could be seen bonding with fellow holiday-makers.

She was also happy to dance energetically with one man in particular, who she exchanged moves with.

The 22-year-old actress is said to have ended her three-year relationship with Championship footballer Josh McEachran.

Friends said she found the break-up hard to take.

A pal told the Sunday People: ‘Brooke and Josh are no longer together. It’s a difficult time for her because he was her first love. But she’s a positive person and she’s got many good friends, so she’ll be fine.’

The pair have also unfollowed each other on Twitter, prompting suggestions of a less than acrimonious separation.

The player, who trained at Chelsea’s football academy from the age of seven, has been earmarked as one to watch.

Still on Chelsea’s books, Josh has previously enjoyed loan spells at Middlesbrough, Watford and Swansea prior to joining Wigan on loan.

Brooke met the footballer in 2011 through their mutual pal, former Manchester United defender Wes Brown’s brother Reece.

Referring to their relationship she once said: ‘We click, he just gets me. I’m dead loud and he’s so much quieter and more reserved.

‘I said to him, ‘I bet when I came into your life, it was like a whirlwind.’ He said, ‘Yeah and you haven’t stopped talking for two and a half years.'
