Naked Jennifer Lawrence smoulders as she poses with giant red-tailed boa constrictor for provocative new shoot
With an enormous snake stretched across her naked body it’s fair to say Jennifer Lawrence’s latest photo-shoot is perhaps her most provocative to date.
The 24-year-old actress has stripped off for a new shoot on behalf of Vanity Fair, tastefully shot by acclaimed French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
Taken at a residence in the Hollywood Hills, the striking image captures a naked Jennifer lying on her stomach, feet in the air as a Colombian red-tailed boa constrictor coils over her bottom, around the arch of her back and over her neck.

Seemingly untroubled, the actress throws the camera a smouldering stare, oblivious to the reptile working its way around her body.
‘Jennifer has the perfect combination of strength, sexuality, and humor, and, above all, tomboy to pull this off,’ explained shoot stylist Jessica Diehl.
It's understood that Hunger Games star Jennifer only expressed discomfort when the snake neared her neck, after which it was returned to a perforated storage container.

The shot is an homage to the iconic 1981 portrait of Nastassja Kinski, taken by photographer Richard Avedon for Vogue magazine.
Titled Nastassja Kinski and the Serpent, the shot captures the naked actress adopting a similar pose as the serpent in question, an enormous Burmese python, works its way across her back.
Avedon's image was later marketed as a poster and sold across the world.
The original eventually sold at auction for $74,500 in 2014.
Meanwhile Jennifer is preparing for the final instalment of the epic The Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay - Part 2.
The film, which also stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, is released in United Kingdom and United States on November 20.
