'Take my breath away': Nicole Scherzinger continues to try and heal her broken heart with a luxurious getaway to Venice with pals
Nicole Scherzinger is undoubtedly still hurting after calling off her seven-year relationship with Lewis Hamilton in February.
So it's little wonder why she decided to jet off to Venice on Friday for a much needed getaway with a few close pals.
Clearly having a blast on her mini escape while soaking up the sights of the historic Italian city, the 36-year-old has been regularly posting pictures of her holiday on Instagram.

In one snap, the US star can be seen posing on a speedboat with a face full of makeup with San Giorgio Church in the background.
Underneath the picture, she wrote: '#Venetian #sunset #SanGiorgioChurch #Venice #takemybreathaway.'
Minutes later, the star posted another image of herself posing seductively while cruising around the city's famous canals.

The two then-lovebirds were seen on a romantic gondola ride around the city's famous waterways, taking in the sights of their beautiful surroundings.
So it must be with a slightly heavy heart that she is back there once again, less than a year after celebrating their special time together.
