'I want to see what my body is capable of': EastEnders star Kellie Bright revealed as the third celebrity contestant for this year's Strictly Come Dancing

She's best known for playing feisty Linda Carter on EastEnders.
But this autumn Kellie Bright will be taking on a whole new challenge, as it's revealed she'll be showing off her moves on Strictly Come Dancing.
The soapstar was confirmed as the third celebrity contestant to take part in the 2015 series during Chris Evans' Radio 2 breakfast show on Wednesday morning.

The 39-year-old actress is the first female celeb to be confirmed, following the news earlier this week that TV chef Ainsley Harriott and broadcaster Jeremy Vine have also signed up.
Kellie joined Chris Evans on his breakfast show to reveal why she's taking on the challenge.
'One of the main reasons I decided to do the show is the fact that I'm going to be 40 this year and to be the fittest I've ever been at this point in my life would be a great thing,' the actress explained.

'It'll be a challenge - but I want to see what my body is capable of.'
The popular actress, who also played Cassie Tyler in Bad Girls, added that she was keen to improve her fitness after becoming a mum to her son with husband Paul Stocker three years ago.
'I haven't really done any exercise since I had my little boy - and he's three-and-a-half now! I started training about three weeks ago at my Cross Fit Gym, which offers a special type of training. It's all about strengthening and increasing your body's metabolic condition. It's about an hour's workout. I do exercises like flipping tyres,' she said.

'I have always enjoyed exercise but not it's going to be a priority. One of the perks of doing Strictly is how fit it makes you.'
Following her appearance on Radio 2, an excited Kellie tweeted the news for her 11k fans online, telling them:
'Yes, it's true. I'm going to be head to toe in sequins and dancing (well trying to) on a Saturday night show that you may have heard of... '
Kellie follows in the footsteps of fellow EastEnders stars Patsy Palmer, Gillian Taylforth, Jill Halfpenny, Letitia Dean, Kara Tointon and Ricky Groves who have all previously competed on Strictly Come Dancing.
