She's been hired as the new presenter of America's Next Top Model.

And Rita Ora has certainly been stepping up her fashion game in recent days with a variety of costume changes on a daily basis.

The British pop star, 25, looked stunning as she left her New York City apartment on Monday morning in a sexy black ensemble.

The Kosovo-born star looked uber glam in a black corset, trousers and heels, with her blonde hair styled in voluminous waves.

The singer, who is usually known for her eclectic and often wacky fashion statements, has been going for a sleeker, more sophisticated style in recent weeks.

It was confirmed last week that Rita would be replacing Tyra at the host of the VH1 show for the upcoming 23rd season.

She has already filmed her first elimination on ANTM, which will premiere in the autumn on VH1 after many years on the CW.

Model Ashley Graham will also join the panel as well as celebrity stylist Law Roach and Paper magazine creative officer Drew Elliot.

Meanwhile, she appeared to be teaming up with her model pal Cara Delevingne, as she shared a snap of the pair playing table tennis doubles on Instagram on Sunday.

Rita captioned: 'Just found this. No clue what the rules are lol #day1 ❤️❤️'.

Aside from her new TV role, Rita is back in studio after battling her former record label Roc Nation to be released from her contract following her debut album Ora in 2012.

New role: It was confirmed last week that Rita would be replacing Tyra at the host of the VH1 show for the upcoming 23rd season

However, after settling with Roc Nation in May, Rita has since signed a new deal with Atlantic Records.

She told Capital FM recently: 'I'm completely ecstatic about the family and amazing team.

'I've already started recording – they’ve definitely put me to work straight away. It’s amazing to just be back where I started, even though obviously I’m in a different position than I was in when I first started, but I’m so excited to mix all these things I’ve got together.

'[My second album's] coming soon, I promise. I mean I’ve literally just signed a deal so let’s just have a minute. I’m just definitely recording and making as much music as possible.'

And Tyra Banks lead by example on Tuesday when she arrived at the premiere party for the 22nd season of her CW show America's Next Top Model. 

The 41-year-old former supermodel posed like a seasoned pro on the red carpet in a figure-hugging asymmetric dress.

Tyra's golden brown tresses were immaculately styles and sported glossy scarlet lips to match her frock.

She accentuated her slender pins in some red patent heels with lace-up detail at the ankle while accessorising with a cluster of ornate rings on her hands. 

The TV host placed her hands on her hips to show-off her curves and the angles of the dress. 

Meanwhile, Tyra is currently preparing to star in a new lifestyle show The FAB Life, with model Chrissy Teigen.

The project will take the shape of a roundtable hosted by a panel of lifestyle experts on fashion, food, decorating and finances.

Others joining the panel will be fashionista Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk, and do-it-yourself YouTube star Leah Ashley.  

ANTM debuted in 2003 and has gone through 21 cycles - which include makeovers, trips abroad and catwalk finales - with recent cycles including male contestants.

Tyra recently took to Instagram to speak out about how much tougher it is for models these days than it was in the 1990s.

'When I was a young model, yeah, we had to think about our weight, but not like today,' she wrote alongside a throwback Thursday picture.

'I think I was a size 6, not a size 0.' She added later, 'They have to be slimmer than slim. Skinnier than skinny.'

The fashion industry often comes under fire for promoting a one-size-fits-all idea of beauty with some brands only using models of a certain height and weight for their campaigns.

Diesel, however, is proving a point with its spring/summer 2015 campaign, which aims to promote 'tolerance, equality and unconditional love'.

The star of the new shoot is, without a doubt, 19-year-old Winnie Harlow who has vitiligo, a pigment condition that causes white patches to form on skin.

Winnie, a former America's Next Top Model contestant, whose real name is Chantelle Brown-Young, was diagnosed with vitiligo around the age of four.

She was cruelly nicknamed 'zebra' and 'cow' because of the white patches covering her face and body growing up.

Michael Jackson famously had the same condition and explained his pale complexion was a result of the lack of melanin in his skin.

Now Winnie, who describes her self as a 'vitiligo spokesmodel' on Instagram, is being celebrated for her distinctive look.

She has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media and she was recently invited back to her high school to do a motivational talk with students touching on the discrimination she faced.

Winnie first spoke publicly about her skin condition in 2011 by posting a video to YouTube titled 'Vitiligo: A Skin Condition not a Life Changer'.

Although then just 17, she eloquently told viewers: 'People have black skin, people have brown skin, I have both.

'When I got older, it got harder because when kids get older they get meaner, so I went through a lot of bullying and people calling me like zebra or cow so it was really hard growing up.'

She said at certain points she was plagued with suicidal thoughts but found the strength to pull through. Moving from California to Canada with her family also provided the opportunity for a fresh start.

Speaking about the campaign, which also stars Charlotte Free, front, Nicola said: 'The challenge was to work with an avant-garde photographer, Nick Knight, and get him to do something he's rarely done - which is shoot people smiling'

After 'blossoming', Winnie said she found it strange when people started telling her how beautiful she was.

'I'll turn pink and say "thank you so much,'" the teenager giggled.

WHAT IS VITILIGO?

Vitiligo occurs when the cells that produce melanin, the pigment that determines the color of skin, die or stop functioning.

This causes slowly enlarging white patches of irregular shapes to appear on the skin over time.

Vitiligo affects all races, but may be more noticeable in people with darker skin.

The exact cause of the condition is unknown, although many experts believe that it is an autoimmune condition in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys certain cells.

There is no cure and the goal of treatment, which can include ointments and skin grafts, is to stop or slow the progression of pigment loss.

She says that things have worked in her favour because she accepts her originality and has used it to her advantage.

'I loved myself. And with that, opportunities start to fall into my lap. And I thank God for all of them. Try loving yourself,' she concluded. 

As well as starring on America's Next Top Model, she walked in Ashish's catwalk show in London and starred in a SHOWStudio campaign.

This Diesel campaign is the latest string to her bow.

Speaking about the campaign, which also stars alternative model Charlotte Free, Nicola said: 'There are so many crazy things happening now that you don’t see people just having fun any more.

'The challenge was to work with an avant-garde photographer, Nick Knight, and get him to do something he’s rarely done - which is shoot people smiling. 

'It feels spontaneous, like they are selfies and he’s just the one snapping the photo.'

Former America's Next Top Model contestant Yaya Dacosta to play Whitney Houston in upcoming biopic

She will be portraying a woman who was cited by Guiness World Records to be the most awarded female act of all time and has one of the most iconic voices in modern music.

So it's safe to say Yaya Dacosta has some mighty big shoes to fill.

The 31-year-old star will be playing legendary diva Whitney Houston in an upcoming biopic about her life set for release in 2015.

The former America's Next Top Model contestant will play the lead role in the new Lifetime movie depicting the highs and lows of the late singer's life and career

Expected to be included in the film is the I Will Always Love You hitmaker's turbulent marriage to Bobby Brown. 

Yaya does have acting experience outside of reality TV as she has previously landed recurring roles in series such as All My Children, Ugly Betty, and House.

Veteran actress Angela Bassett, who starred alongside Whitney in 1995 comedy and drama Waiting to Exhale, will be making her directorial debut in the film.

While many fans are excited about the project, the Greatest Love Of All performer's family are none-to-pleased about the film.

According to TMZ, Whitney's family are 'p***ed' it is a made-for-television movie because they feel she deserves so much more.

Pat Houston, Whitney's sister-in-law, told the gossip site: 'Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie. If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening.'

Whitney's estate has reportedly already informed Lifetime of their displeasure and is said to be threatening a lawsuit if the network refuses to cancel production.

The singer's loved ones are instead planning their own big screen movie in the style of Michael Jackson's 'This Is It', which they feel would be a more fitting tribute to the musical icon.

The Bodyguard actress accidentally drowned at the age of 48 in February 2012 in her Beverly Hilton hotel suite, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.
