It is always hard to stand out at a star-studded event.

But Vanessa Hudgens managed just that after attending the opening of the Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday wither her boyfriend Austin Butler.

He was the perfect fashion accessory for the 24-year-old Spring Breakers actress, who was clearly loving being the centre of attention at the MGM Grand.

Her High School Musical star beau was more than happy to smile for the cameras while standing by her side on the red carpet.

However he wisely chose to wear a restrained ensemble of suit, tie and designer leather shoes.

This allowed Vanessa to enjoy all the limelight in an eye-catching patterned metallic mini dress which drew attention to her best feature, her finely toned legs.

However she seemed to be particularly pleased with her newly painted fingernails, which were white with stuck on gemstones, shamelessly flaunting them for photographers.

That's more like it: She seemed to enjoy posing on her own almost as much as standing with her beau

Rearly impressive: It seems like all of the starlets visits to the gym are paying off going by her toned derriere

But while she likes to party hard, she also likes to push herself to ensure her physique is always in peak condition, as was the case on Wednesday when she hit the gym.

She was seen at a Pilates studio in Studio City, sporting a pair of black and floral Lululemon yoga trousers.

Staying fit and healthy is of prime importance to the star as she will embark on another promotional trail soon for her new movie.

Vanessa stars in Gimme Shelter, alongside Rosario Dawson and Brendan Fraser, as a teenager who sets out to find her Wall Street father.

She often keeps things casual and dressed down but Vanessa Hudgens went for all-out glamour on Wednesday.

The actress made sure all eyes were on her and certainly could have stopped traffic in the busy Big Apple with her bold look.

The star was in attendance at Wildfox’s presentation at New York Fashion Week, held at Capitale in Chinatown.

She looked elegant in her slightly sheer shimmering ankle-length dress, which boasted thin spaghetti straps.

The former High School Musical sweetheart had beige peep toes with bow detailing on her feet, with her neon pink painted toenails just visible.

Vanessa, 24, kept her accessories simple with silver drop earrings and a single bangle on her wrist.

The Spring Breakers star wore a black slip under her slinky dress which was visible as she turned around to give photographers an eyeful of the back of the frock.

The brunette completed her look by sweeping her freshly cut tresses into a messy top knot and sported lashings of blood red lipstick.

Vanessa had her doting boyfriend Austin Butler by her side at the stylish bash as she arrived in a furry leopard print coat to keep her warm.

Austin, who can currently be seen in The Carrie Diaries, was dressed down in a leather jacket over a Breton top, black jeans and battered brown boots.

Wildfox is a hugely popular brand with celebrities, so it’s no surprise that plenty of stars turned out to catch a glimpse of what it will bring for the autumn/winter season.

Ashlee Simpson looked great in a pale pink T-shirt with an animal face splashed across it.

The singer dressed up the top by tucking it into a black leather pencil skirt which fell just below the knee.

Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice meanwhile appeared to be taking beauty tips from Vanessa as she wore her brunette hair in the exact same style.

The 19-year-old chose a cropped green sequined top which read ‘Teen dream’ over a black top and matching leggings and pumps.

Victoria spent plenty of time making friends during the evening and also posed with Kimberly Gordon and Julia Bosco.
