She was once a pop star who performed on talk shows all over the world, but now it seems that Jamelia will go one better - and present one, instead.

The R&B singer - whose hits include Superstar and Call me - has been announced as the latest star to join the daytime talk show in its latest line-up.

The 32 year-old, real name Jamelia Niela Davis - is set to join the panel of ITV’s Loose Women from 27 November.

Speaking of the news, she said: 'I’m absolutely chuffed to become a Loose Woman! I'm really looking forward to sharing my thoughts and feisty opinions with the other women and the viewers and can't wait to get my teeth into some great debates and to discuss issues that really matter.'

She will now join the likes of Janet Street-Porter and Jane MacDonald, who co-present the daily chat show with a number of special guests.

In recent times the long-running programme has welcomed some impressive guests, including Oprah Winfrey, Mary J. Blige and Frank Lampard.

A good fit: Jamelia's warm personality and good looks will make her a perfect fit for the mid-morning show

Thankfully, Jamelia won't be too phased by the prospect of celebrities - after all, she was one during her stint as a pop star.

The Birmingham-born singer secured her first recording contract at the age of 15 and has enjoyed a series of hit singles and albums, including the smash-hit Superstar, which peaked at number three, and earned the spot of the 26th best-selling of 2003 in the UK.

Since then the mother-of-two has also been busy forging an acting career. She has subsequently appeared in Gavin and Stacey, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and BBC soap Eastenders.

Never one to sit on the fence when it came to career or family, Jamelia gave birth to her first child - a daughter named Teja Wallen - on March 18, 2001, when she was just 20.

The child's father is her now ex-boyfriend, Terry Wallen.

She then gave birth to her second child - a daughter called Tiani Byfield on October 21, 2005 - when she was aged 24. The father is ex-husband Darren Byfield.

Is that...? No, not quite. These are the brothers and sisters of the stars: lesser-known first names perhaps, but no less a member of the family.

Some of them, like Simon Cowell's property tycoon brother Nicolas, are successful in their own right; but a few like to keep it all in the family — Tom Cruise's sister Lee Anne is his publicist, while Colin Farrell employs sister Claudine as his PA.

It's one of the sporting highlights of the year and with a British player competing in the final of Wimbledon excitement reached fever pitch in the UK today.

And there were plenty of famous faces at centre court cheering on Murray, with David and Victoria Beckham leading the stylish celebrities.

Fashion designer Victoria had donned a dark fern-green dress from her own label for the day, which she teamed with a pair oversized sunglasses.

The tight midi-dress boasted a v-shaped neckline and a black block of colour around her bust and two more around her torso.

Victoria stepped out in a pair of knee high boots, a style she has been preferring lately, and was seen toting around a crocodile skin handbag from her own label, which costs a cool £8,995.

The Spice Girl, who celebrated her 13th wedding anniversary with her husband this week, wore her hair in voluminous ponytail.

David looked particularly dapper for the occasion dressed in a smart suit, a grey shirt and a striped tie.

The couple were seen politely greeting other guests sitting in the royal box, before settling down to watch the game.

Victoria was seen tenderly placing her arm around her husband's neck as the Murray v Federer game began.

Kate looked effortlessly chic in yet another recycled outfit, this time a Joseph ensemble.

The 30-year-old wore a cream shift Vanessa dress teamed with a cream Nessie tweed jacket.

This is the third time Kate has worn the dress and she last wore the jacket at Epsom in 2011.

She carried a leather Chanel tote on her arm and donned a black Zara jacket with zips to finish off her look.

Marvin, of JLS fame, looked smart in a grey suit, but but unlike Becks, he had opted out of wearing a tie.

Veteran singer Sir Cliff Ricards displayed a patriotic style with a Union Jack jacket and a pair of fitted navy trousers.

Rupert Murdoch and his wife Wendi Deng came prepared for rain in his and hers hats, with the feisty Chinese businesswoman bucking the women's trends in a pair of navy trousers and flat heels.

The News Corporation boss took time out from his media business woes to attending the sporting event and donned a brown jacket, a blue shirt and dark trousers.

She might not have managed to see every act perform but The Queen made a valiant effort to greet everyone involved in the Diamond Jubilee Concert last night.

Queen Elizabeth II, 86, was seen greeting and thanking all the performers backstage at Buckingham Palace last night.

Gary Barlow and Kylie Minogue appeared to be tasked with introducing many of the musicians, singers and comedians to the monarch.

Of course The Queen has met many of the stars before with many entitled names on the line-up for the star studded bash.

But no matter who the act each person was greeted with a broad smile from The Queen and a warm handshake.

Kylie, who had swapped her Pearly Queen-inspired outfit for a flowing white gown with a modest slash at the neckline was seen guiding Queen Elizabeth around.

Did you like the song? Gary Barlow, who organised the concert was seen introducing Queen Elizabeth to Andrew Llloyd Webber, with whom he co-wrote Sing

The pop princess introduced the monarch to William, Rob Brydon and Cheryl Cole before finding fellow Australian Rolf Harris.

Gary Barlow, who has been very involved in the concert from its inception to performing twice on stage, was also on hand to help The Queen.

The Take That singer was seen with Andrew Lloyd Webber who bowed down to Queen Elizabeth as she approached him.

Gary and Andrew penned Sing, a song written specifically for the Diamond Jubilee.

The Queen had arrived mid-way through the star-studded concert after having seen her husband go into hospital.

Prince Phillip was taken ill with a bladder infection and missed the celebrations completely.

But despite the poor health of her husband The Queen displayed the utmost composure.

In fact the monarch had more than a smile on her face as she greeted comedian Peter Kay, she burst into laughter.

Whether it was his impressive Beefeater costume or his jokes that had Her Majesty in stitches remains to be seen but either way it was a lovely sight to see the monarch in such a jovial mood.
