Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez go for gold as they lead Young Hollywood stars at post-Oscars parties

She has yet to earn herself an Oscar nomination.
But that didn't stop Vanessa Hudgens from marking the biggest occasion of the film industry's year on Sunday night, as she attended Elton John's post Academy Awards bash.
The 25-year-old star looked incredible in a figure-hugging gold strapless dress as she posed outside the party at The City of West Hollywood Park.
And she wasn't the only starlet to go for gold at the bash, as her Spring Breakers star Selena Gomez also opted for a dazzling metallic gown

Vanessa teamed her dress with sharp, pointed gold nails and lashings of make-up, including claret red lipstick, eyeliner and fake lashes.
She finished off her look by leaving her brunette hair loose in tumbling curls, and added several statement bracelets as accessories.
Speaking previously about her sense of style, Vanessa explained: 'It’s literally, like, whatever I gravitate towards. I love everything.

Vanessa was joined at the bash by her dapper boyfriend Austin Butler, who looked smart in his suit and bowtie.
The actress was just one of the Young Hollywood generation who made an appearance at the post-Oscars parties to mark the momentous occasion.

Joining her at the Elton John party was Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter Rumer, who opted for a similar style in a metallic gown.
The 25-year-old's asymmetric dress set off her auburn hair perfectly, and Rumer accessorised with drop earrings and a diamante clutch bag.
Modern Family star Sarah Hyland went strapless in a black and white dress, while Twilight beauties Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed went for contrasting looks in a cream dress and patterned pink kaftan-style gown respectively.

Entertainment at the star-studded bash was provided by Sir Elton himself as well as British musician Ed Sheeran, who posed up for photographers in his black suit and red trainers before heading inside.
Inside the bash, Ed mingled with stars including close pal Taylor Swift, who went for a twenties vibe with her sequinned black dress and carefully coiffed 'do.
Taylor certainly appeared to be enjoying herself at the party, cuddling up to actress Jaime King among others.

Kristin Cavallari used the occasion to show off her neat baby bump in a fitted lace dress, while actress Lydia Hearst channelled The Great Gatsby in her long, beaded gown.
Meanwhile, over at the Vanity Fair party, Jennifer Lawrence lead the way, having swapped her red peplum gown for a sexier mirrorball-style silver minidress.

Metallic was obviously a popular theme for the evening, with Selena Gomez wowing in a full-length gold dress with keyhole detail on the front.
Pitch Perfect beauty Anna Kendrick went for a gothic style black dress, which highlighted her slim figure perfectly, while British singer Rita Ora opted for an unusual cream midi-length lace dress.
Red was another trendy choice for the evening, with Kristen Bell and Emma Roberts both opting for shades of crimson as they posed for photographers.
