Rita Ora's new music was overshadowed by a revealing ensemble as she performed on The Graham Norton Show.

The singer appeared as an obligatory musical guest on the hugely popular BBC staple, where she sung latest single Poison.

But while she entertained celebrity guests Jack Whitehall, Ewan McGregor and Lewis Hamilton with her new track – the first from her forthcoming second album – it was her decision to perform in her black brassiere that dominated proceedings.

Displaying plenty of cleavage, the 24-year old kept her upper-half partially covered in a fringed leather jacket, while on-trend ripped jeans rounded off a very casual ensemble.

Rita gave her look a quirky flourish by adding decorative cosmetic stars to both cheeks.

Her appearance, which airs on Friday evening, comes after Graham revealed he wants to end his chat show – for fear he’ll be reduced to interviewing reality stars from The Only Way Is Essex.

Asked if he wanted to retire from the Graham Norton Show, the comedian said: ‘Yes, of course. You want to get out when people are still watching your show.

‘The thing nobody wants to do is the inching backwards, where you are going, “Yes the cast of Towie can come on”. I’m not jumping tomorrow but it is in my head.’

The 52-year-old has presented the BBC1 show for 17 series so far, beginning in 2007.

He added: ‘It’s never easy to get guests even if you are the only chat show on the telly. In the end the people you want are very famous and very rich and they can get all the publicity they need doing an afternoon in a hotel and doing a bit of red carpet. It’s a lot to ask them to come to a television studio.

‘When it comes to chat show wars, yes you always try and bag the biggest guests and at the moment we do seem to be having a good run of it.

'But these things go in cycles. That will turn and change.'

She wanted to cause a stir by unveiling her newly-slim figure at the UNICEF Halloween ball in London on Thursday night.

And Lily Allen certainly managed to do just that as she attended the bash entirely covered in green paint.

Lily opted for an other-worldly style ensemble as she sported a green sequinned halterneck minidress with green leopard-print tights and a green Chanel bag as she attended the event at One Mayfair.

Topping off her look, Lily added a bobble headband and sequinned make-up around her eyes.

Lily, 28, was at the event to perform alongside Robbie Williams, who took to the stage to entertain guests at the star-studded bash.

And as she delighted the crowd with her vocal talents, Lily also showed off her slimline shape, after apparently having lost a significant amount of weight in recent months.

The singer is planning to make her comeback with her upcoming song Hard Out Here, for which she has reportedly recruited a group of bikini-clad girls for the video.

However, it is understood the video will be tongue-in-cheek and make references to Miley's Twerking in We Can't Stop, Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines clip - which featured topless models - and Rihanna's numerous sexy videos.

A source told The Sun: 'Lily hired six bikini-clad female dancers to twerk while pouring champagne over their bodies. It's a jab at music videos made by pop stars like Rihanna and Miley Cyrus.

'Lily stays covered up while the under-dressed girls dance around her. It's a video that will get a lot of people talking and announce in a big way that Lily's back.'

A lot has changed for the 28-year-old star since she released her last album, 'It's Not Me, It's You' in 2009, with her marrying Sam Cooper and becoming a mother to daughters Ethel, 23 months and Marnie, nine months, but she insists her new album isn't a "mum" record.

She said: 'It's not an earnest "I'm a mum" kind of record. It's empowering. There's some feminist vibes going on. It's the same old me with a bit of swearing going on.'

Vampire, nurse and zombie bride are all popular choices when it comes to Halloween outfits for women.

But Gemma Arterton opted to keep things simple as she attended The UNICEF Halloween Ball at One Mayfair in London on Thursday night.

Instead of a tacky fancy dress option, Gemma wowed in a stunning backless negligee-dress as she made a stylish appearance at the annual event.

Dressed to impress: Gemma showed off her curves in the dress, which featured lace detailing along the neckline

The 27-year-old actress showed off her enviable curves in the black gown, which clung to her figure in all the right places.

Adding something of a spooky twist to her look, Gemma teamed the dress with a smoky silver eye, which gave her overall ensemble an ethereal quality.

Gemma looked calm and collected as she posed up on the red carpet at the charity bash, after admitting in an interview earlier this year that she credits her mother Sally-Anne for giving her confidence to do anything with her life.

She told The Sun: 'I have to thank my mother for giving me confidence. She brought up me and my sister on her own and never talked about any problems. I really appreciate how one woman could work hard and be a great mum at the same time.

'My mum Sally worked at two jobs, as a cleaner and seamstress ... I am no campaigning feminist, but just seeing her set an example makes me convinced that women can do anything so long as they have belief in themselves.

'Her ability to look after and protect my sister and myself made us always feel optimistic about life. It allowed me to make decisions, both good and bad, and not feel restricted.'

Gemma wasn't the only familiar face to make an appearance at the UNICEF ball, which was to raise vital funds for UNICEF's work for children affected by the current Syria crisis.

Jemima Khan went for more of a fancy dress approach to her outfit, wearing a black tutu-style ensemble, for which she appeared to have taken inspiration from Oscar-winning movie Black Swan.

The 39-year-old socialite, who recently split from comedian Russell Brand, showed off her slim legs in the short skirt and corset, which she teamed with a feather-trimmed cardigan.

Completing her look, Jemima opted for winged eye make-up like Natalie Portman's character in the film, and wore her brunette hair up in a loose ponytail.

Coincidentally also present at the bash was Jemima's ex Hugh Grant, who arrived at a similar time, and kept his spooky look simple by pairing his suit with a frilly cat mask.

Meg Mathews showed off her slim figure at the event in a tight black PVC strapless dress, which she teamed with ankle-strap heels and her blonde hair slicked back into a high ponytail.
