Lily Allen dons a pair of mouse ears and fundraising T-shirt as she gets in touch with her charitable side for Red Nose Day

She combines motherhood with a busy pop career but Lily Allen always has time for charity. 

The 29-year-old singer has joined the Red Nose Day campaign, modelling a series of designer T-shirts which will be sold to raise money for the charity event. 

A new campaign image shows Lily in a pair of quirky mouse ears, special Henry Holland fundraising tee and ripped jeans as she works her best model pose for the camera.

Her hair, which is currently orange and purple, is black in the campaign pictures taken by Rankin. 

Lily is not the only star to take part and model the tops which have been designed by fashion royalty including  Anya Hindmarch, Diane von Furstenberg and Matthew Williamson, along with Holland.

Dermot O'Leary has also posed for the charity campaign. 

Each limited edition design is completely unique to each designer with a very special Red Nose Day twist featuring quirky quotes.

Profits from the sale of each T-shirt are donated to Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives across Africa and in the UK.

Meanwhile, they might be happily married but Marvin Humes risked the wrath of his wife Rochelle when he gave her a less than flattering makeover.

Thankfully the new look was all done in aid of charity as Red Nose Day (a.k.a. the day when the British public do something funny for money to help change lives) is back on Friday March 13.

The Saturdays singer was also modelling her Matthew Williamson designed Red Nose Day T-Shirt featuring the anonymous quotation: 'Do my feathers look big in this?'

She teamed it with jeans and thigh-high boots, but no matter what she wore, Marvin, 29, couldn't help but giggle and point at his wife's new look. 

Since its launch in 1988, Red Nose Day has become something of a British institution. 

It’s the day, every two years, when people get together and do something funny for money at home, school and work in order to raise money for those living tough lives in the UK and Africa.

Rochelle, 25, and Marvin aren't the only celebrities who have got involved to help out. 

Television presenters Tess Daly and Vernon Kay snapped a #RNDface selfie for Red Nose Day. 

Vernon was sporting one of nine Red Nose characters, while Tess was sporting a colourful face full of make-up including dramatic eyelashes as she posed for the camera.

Famed for their bromance, Simon Cowell and David Walliams both sported red noses for a snap, as Simon makes David's face funny for money.

With Lenny Henry presenting again, he along with a host of other stars such as Fearne Cotton, Laura Whitmore, Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall have all posed with their red noses.

They all also sported a range of the charity T-shirts which are all available to purchase from high-street store T.K. Maxx.

The mood was decidedly upbeat as Lisa Snowdon and Dave Berry greeted members of the press backstage at The Radio Academy Awards on Monday evening – and with good reason.

Moments earlier the Capital FM duo picked up the award for best UK breakfast show, and 35-year-old Dave made the most of their celebratory moment by burying his face in Lisa’s prominent cleavage.

The 42-year-old TV and radio personality didn’t seem to mind, and she playfully laughed as her co-host wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close.

Dave, who once dated former Sugababe Heidi Range, showered brunette Lisa with kisses while clutching their coveted glass trophy.

The attractive presenter decided to be a little bit daring in the fashion stakes as she attended The Radio Academy Awards 2014 at  Grosvenor Hotel in London, and she turned heads as she swirled along the carpet – showing off her slightly bizarre white dress that resembled shredded paper.

While the top section of the dress was typically flattering it flared out towards the hem in strips, creating a flapper like feel.

The white dress showed off her glowing tan and she wore her loose hair down in gentle waves – ensuring she oozed her usual sex appeal.

Lisa attended the awards alongside her Capital FM breakfast host Dave, who looked dapper a dogtooth waistcoat and blazer with large black bow-tie. 

The duo topped the much-prized category of the UK's top breakfast show, ahead of figures such as Radio 5 Live's Rachel Burden and Nicky Campbell. Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw failed to even make the shortlist for the award.

During the ceremony Jamie Cullum was rewarded for his career as a presenter when he won a top broadcasting award for his Radio 2 programme.

The chart star took the Best Music Programme title at the Radio Academy Awards in London which rewards the cream of the airwaves, beating a shortlist which also included Blur's Alex James.

Notable names to triumph at the ceremony included Radio 5 live's Danny Baker, who won a gong at the event for the fourth consecutive year by taking the Speech Radio Personality of the Year prize.

Other big winners at the ceremony, staged at the Grosvenor House Hotel, included Radio 1's Greg James who landed his first prize from the Radio Academy Awards - known for many years as the Sonys, until the main sponsor withdrew after last year's event.

The event, hosted by Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans, saw the prize for Music Radio Broadcaster of the Year go to Radio 1's Zane Lowe. He last won the title three years ago.

Tony Blackburn, who hosts the Pick Of The Pops countdowns, was handed the honorary Gold Award which had already been announced in advance of the ceremony.

It was to honour his 50th year in radio and he became the first person to pick up the Gold Award on two occasions, the last being on the 25th anniversary of his broadcasting career.

Lisa’s appearance comes just days following the news that her one-time ex has finally decided to settle down and has proposed to lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

Radio star Lisa is now in a new, happy relationship now – but she recently revealed to MailOnline that she thought men found her ‘intimidating’ because of her relationship with George.

She said: ‘I may have said in the past that men find me intimidating, but that was off the back of ‘the relationship’ [with Clooney]. I actually think I’m pretty approachable.

‘People are always trying to marry me off. Either that or saying that I’m desperate for a baby.

'Maybe it’s because a lot of women see marriage and babies as a natural progression, but my life has just gone the way it’s gone.

‘I’ve got two younger sisters and my little sister has two kids so I have children in my life. And I’m godmother to everybody!’

He might better known for his voice than his body, but Radio 1 DJ Greg James gave his fans a treat as he stripped completely naked during his Comic Relief trip to Zambia.

The 27-year-old star has been pictured taking off all of his clothes and jumping into the Zambezi river as he promised after raising £50,000 for The BT Red Nose Challenge: Hell and High Water.

Looking a little hesitant at first, Greg proved that he's a man of his word as he waded into the murky water, using his hands to cup his private parts and preserve a little of his modesty.

With more than enough donations made to meet the challenge Greg took off his clothes and sprinted into the river.

Showing just how much the money raised meant to him, the DJ kept his promise to the public, going naked in front of the nation.

Radio 1 tweeted: 'Great work @BBCR1 listeners. Mr @gregjames goes naked in the #zambezi.* *warning, may contain butts'.

Greg may not have been aware of the situation but he was not the only living creature that was inhabiting the 3,540-kilometre-long river.

The Zambezi supports large numbers of hippopotamuses, lizards and many crocodiles as well as its own bull shark population.

Greg and his fellow celebrities Dara O’Briain, Melanie C, Jack Dee, Chelsee Healey and Phillips Idowu completed the biggest challenge of their lives on Friday afternoon.

The five day ordeal saw them travel under their own steam down Africa’s mighty Zambezi river to raise as much cash as possible for Red Nose Day.

The triumphant team finished at exactly 3.18pm. After clambering down a 200ft gorge using a ladder locally known as The Steps Of Doom, the six intrepid amateurs spent the morning clinging on for dear life as they battled the most fierce rapids of the week – even the support crew’s raft flipped over and chucked them into the deep.

Greg said: 'The rapids are really frightening, especially if you're a novice! You can't just sit back, you have to keep paddling otherwise you'll just float off and go miles away. We're in a big raft today and it keeps bouncing around, people are popping out of it like popcorn! 

'I bounced into the air earlier and was only saved by Phillips grabbing me with his massive athletic claw! We’re going through rapids called The Terminator and The Gnashing Jaws of Death; they're just horrible names. I wish we could so through something called ‘small mound’ or ‘babbling brook’ instead.'

Exhausted, aching, blistered and bruised after travelling over 111km under their own steam, battling raging rapids, manic mosquitos and sweltering sun, the team are now celebrating and reflecting on their success.

Greg said: 'Let me sum up how I'm feeling in one phrase – I'm over it. Big time. I'm over the water, the rapids, the hippos, the boats, the tents, the camping, the sand, the itchy bits, the mosquitos, the blisters, the sunburn, the smell - it’s been really tough.
