While the 1980s conjure up a variety of sartorial images for us all, actress Emily Atack apparently sees it as a particularly sexy decade.

The screen star, 25, played retro dress-up as she stepped out in a plunging silver top and black shimmering leggings to attend pal Laura Whitmore's 1980s-themed 30th birthday bash on Sunday.

Brunette Emily wore her voluminous locks in a bouffant style, while she added nude heels and a stonewashed denim jacket to her ensemble for the gathering at London's trendy Clutch bar.

Carrying a silver clutch and wearing a dazzling pair of earrings, she wore a generous application of make-up for her night out on the town.

And she was sure to give her Instagram followers a sneak peek of her ensemble, taking to the picture-sharing site to upload shots of herself before and during the celebrations. 

The invite told guests to dress like it was 1985 - the year the blonde beauty was born - and they didn't hold back.

Irish TV personality Laura rocked up first and showed off her slim figure by dressing as Madonna in cult classic Desperately Seeking Susan. 

Throwing on a vintage biker jacket, lace gloves and with her locks tied in a bow, she certainly looked the part.

One Direction star Niall Horan, who is a longtime friend of Laura's, was next to turn up - and went for the Tom Cruise tough-guy look in a Top Gun jumpsuit - even though the movie came out in 1986.

Meanwhile, model Daisy Lowe didn't feel the need to go too over-the-top - opting for a punky striped T-shirt and Doc Martins with a glamorous pink fur.

Other guests included Laura's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! co-host Joe Swash, who also opted for the Top Gun look, singer Jade Williams and The Saturdays' Vanessa White who arrived with boyfriend Gary Salter.

Hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks also arrived to enjoy the fun.

Before the party, Laura took to Twitter to write: 'Last day of my twenties... Oh what to do?'

She then shared a snap of herself in Madonna mode alongside an original promo picture of the Queen of Pop and her Desperately Seeking Susan co-star Rosanna Arquette.

She wrote: 'Partying likes it's 1985.'

Millie Mackintosh set the tone on Friday afternoon by donning a pair of wacky, seventies themed loon-pants on the opening day of London Fashion Week.

The 24-year-old Quality Street heiress caught the eye in her high waist flares as she made an appearance at Freemason’s Hall, where she was on hand to take a front row seat at the latest runway show from German designers Felder and Felder.

With a strong emphasis on generously cut trousers proving to be a recurring theme throughout, Millie was streets ahead as she settled down to watch the runway event.

She was joined at the event by fashion week regular and one-time co-star Rosie Fortesque, who arrived shortly after attending South Korean designer Eudon Choi’s runway show earlier that day.

The brunette had attended alongside Lucy Watson, another Made In Chelsea star, and she stood out amongst an array of contemporary designs in a vintage themed dress with semi-sheer lace detailing.

The TV personality completed her look with a large clutch bag inspired by Lewis Carrol fantasy Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

But Bonnie Wright has well and truly grown up into a beautiful young woman, and one with impeccable style at that.

The 23-year-old actress cut a stunning figure as she attended popular nightclub The Box for its fourth birthday celebrations in London on Saturday evening.

For the star-studded bash, the actress – who played Ginny Weasley in the hit movie franchise - donned a slinky little black dress in a satin fabric, flashing a glimpse of her shoulders and legs.

The garment resembled a sultry night-slip, but she pulled it off with ease, adding height to her slender frame with a pair of stylish strappy black sandals.

The flame-haired beauty kept the rest of her ensemble simple, with just a bangle on one wrist, while wearing her hair down in a glossy, low-maintenance ‘do.

Bonnie complemented her dark look and striking hair colour with a fetching slick of scarlet on her lips, pulling her simple but effective look together.

Matching: The 23-year-old cut a ravishing figure in her little black number, while her friend - former Made In Chelsea star Amber Atherton - also went for head-to-peep-toe black

The ex-reality TV star and jewellery designer opted for a sheer lace top, revealing her bra underneath, and an A-line skirt with a sheer panel across the mid-section of her thighs, upping the ante even more.

And of course, Bonnie was also seen getting cosy with her boyfriend Simon Hammerstein, 35, owner of The Box: he kept hold of his gorgeous girlfriend as they posed for a snap together.

Also at the star-studded party, hosted in partnership with Belvedere Vodka, was Downton Abbey favourite Laura Carmichael, who looked a million miles away from her on-screen alter-ego, the relatively dowdy Lady Edith.

The blonde actress went for a more smart-casual look for the occasion, teaming a printed blouse – unbuttoned to reveal a glimpse of her cleavage – with a leather mini skirt.

With her tresses blown out into an easy, breezy straight style, she added to her look – like Bonnie – with a timeless ravishing red lipstick.

She posed at the party with her sister Olivia, who stood out from the crowd with her fiery auburn locks on display.

The TV funnyman kept his eyes up as he posed with the gorgeous guest, keeping a smile on his face.

TV presenter Laura Whitmore looked immaculate as always, sporting a white blouse and a black jacket with a furry detail, and ripped black skinny jeans.

She injected some humour into her Saturday night style with a fun Snoopy handbag worn over her shoulder.

Meanwhile, the entertainment was provided by model and DJ Zara Martin, who looked quirky in a top with hand details over her breasts as she danced up a storm behind the decks with pal Jade Williams.
