And Jessica Alba certainly looked to be reaping the benefits of all that she preaches as she stepped out at the Baby2Baby Gala in Culver City, Los Angeles on Saturday.

The stunning 34-year-old actress, writer and all-round good egg wowed in a vibrant marigold yellow gown as she walked the red carpet at the charity event.

The slender star - a gala chair member for the charity - flaunted her toned arms and shoulders in the dress, which had a stylish crossover strap at the front.

It was quite the dramatic summery frock, sitting snugly over her chest before falling down loosely in an empire-line style, the heavy skirt cascading down to the floor and behind her, a train of sunny yellow trailing in her wake.

The hot yellow shade of the dress was the perfect shade for the Hollywood beauty's warm honeyed skin tone, and she needed little else to make her outfit sing.

Jessica teamed the eye-catching garment with a metallic gold box clutch and a pop of bright red on her lips.

She finished her evening look with a seriously chic hairstyle, her brunette mane teased into an elegant side-swept low chignon.

Jessica spent time on the red carpet with fellow guest Gwen Stefani, who also looked amazing, but in a completly different type of dress.

The 46-year-old singer showed off her figure in a black doily-inspired dress with a nude underlay, fishnet tights and sexy black pointed heels.

Jessica looked to be having a fantastic time with her beers at the Baby2Baby event, which was hosted by the charity and gave a special honour to actress Kerry Washington on the night.

The organisation helps provide basic necessities for disadvantaged children, from birth up to 12 years old.

Other famous faces at the event included the likes of Jessica Biel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair, Kourtney Kardashian and Kelly Rowland.

Meanwhile, Jessica has been busy spending time with her two children, working on her billion-dollar business, The Honest Company, as well as a couple of new films, while also working on her fitness.

The avid exerciser is known for her famously toned physique and has worked up a sweat through hot yoga and classes at the popular SoulCycle studio.

Earlier this year Jessica explained to Shape her approach to maintaining her svelte waistline.

'I have to break a sweat or I don't feel like I’ve gotten anything done,' she told the publication.

She then admitted: 'Working out sucks. Which is why I love taking classes, because I’m surrounded by other people and that keeps me motivated and accountable.

'These days, I do power yoga with light weights in a 105-degree room, so it’s a mix of hot yoga and strength training. I also spin. The key for me is good music, like 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyoncé.'

Jessica can next be seen on the big screen in the upcoming thriller Mechanic: Resurrection.

The sequel to 2011's The Mechanic also stars Jason Statham and Tommy Lee Jones and is due out on August 26, 2016.

Jessica Biel became a first-time mother in April, when she welcomed son Silas Randall with husband Justin Timberlake.

And the 33-year-old was more than happy to show her support at the Baby2Baby gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The organisation provides diapers, clothing and other accessories to low income children.

Jessica was apparently feeling oh-so-retro when she picked out her gown for the star-studded event, and chose a pink prom dress.

The floor-length off-the-shoulder frock had huge, puffy sleeves, ensuring the actress turned heads as she walked the red carpet.

Jessica paired the gown with matching heeled sandals and wore a statement jewelled necklace, while carrying a navy clutch.

Finishing touches: Jessica finished off her look with rosy cheeks and lips, and wore her hair in an updo

The happy couple attended the GLSEN Respect Awards together a few days before the occasion, and joked about being new parents.

'Thank you for allowing mommy and daddy to have a really good night out together,' laughed Justin, as he and Jessica took to the stage.

'With adults. Honey, look around, this is what adults look like. They do exist! They don't smell like poopy diapers... some of you do.' 

Jessica and Justin started dating in January 2007, and got engaged almost five years later.

Gushing about her husband to People last month, the beautiful brunette said: 'He supports everything that I do and that's why I think he's a wonderful partner.'

Modern Family's Ariel Winter, 17, reveals she's had a breast reduction after years of 'strapping down' her painful 32F-cups

Ariel Winter has revealed she has undergone breast reduction surgery.

The 17-year-old made the decision to go under the knife after enduring back and neck pain as a result of her 32F-cups.

The Modern Family actress had the procedure on June 4 and is now a 34D, telling Glamour.com: 'I feel like a new person'.

She revealed her bigger bust proved problematic on Modern Family, where she plays young teenager Alex Dunphy. 

She reveals: 'They had to hide it on Modern Family a lot. Big sweaters, [or] strapping me down—which is fine - I understand that it doesn’t fit the character they have in mind. I understand that. But it was difficult to do that every day.' 

Before her breast reduction, even standing for extended periods of time was difficult, she said.

'It was so painful. I had a lot of back problems,' said the sitcom star.

'I really couldn’t stand up straight for a long period of time. It started to hurt so bad that I couldn’t take the pain. My neck was hurting so bad and I actually had some problems with my spine.'

Her curvy figure also made finding age-appropriate clothing for the red carpet 'really hard', the teenager told Glamour.

'I’d have to wear the dress that was super tight and form-fitted everywhere because if I didn’t, it didn’t look good. I didn’t really have an option other than to wear fitted clothes. Everyone would [say], 'Why is she dressing so mature? That’s so inappropriate for her age!'

'It’s hard when you’re a teenage girl and you already have a lot of ridicule and then you pile on more, and it’s kind of…it just gets too much.'

The actress kept her plans hush-hush, but did confide in costars Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara, who were completely supportive.

'I told Julie because I had talked to her before about my desire to have the surgery. She was really supportive and understanding. 

'I just saw Sofia the other day and she was like, 'Oh my God! I love them! They’re great!' I was like, 'This is hilarious.'

However, Ariel said she didn't discuss the surgery with her estranged mother, Crystal Workman.

The 17-year-old was removed from her mother's home in 2012 amid allegations of abuse, and was legally emancipated from Workman in May after a bitter three-year custody battle.

'She and I don’t speak,' said Ariel, who now leans on her older sister, legal guardian, and 'best friend' Shanelle Gray for support.

'She will find out by reading it and that’s the way that is. And that’s fine.'

'I’m in such a happy place now, and in such a better place now surrounded by people who love me and really support me, and that’s all I need.'

Despite the critics, the teenager said she had the surgery to feel better about herself and wanted to share her story to give other girls confidence.  

'It’s something that I did to better my life and better my health and I think that that can benefit a lot of young girls. 

'I have felt more happy with myself than I ever have,' she told Glamour.

She is going through one of the most uncomfortable battles of her life as she publicly argues against her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb for the use of their frozen embryos one year after their split.

But Sofia Vergara didn't seem to be letting that war get to her on Thursday as she was given her star on the Walk Of Fame in Hollywood.

Dressed in a stunning strapless gold dress with matching pumps, the 42-year-old Modern Family actress glowed as she stood next to her new fiancé, Magic Mike XXL star Joe Manganiello, 38.

Meanwhile, across the country, her ex continued his very public press tour explaining why he should be able to get their embryos as he prepares to take her to court for them.

The pretty star and her ex Loeb are locked in a legal dispute over frozen embryos they created together under a signed agreement stipulating that both parties must consent to any action taken utilizing them to produce children.

The embryos were created six months before they broke up - around this time last year - and Nick wants to the right to use them by himself.

Sofia had her chance to speak out about the situation on Good Morning America which aired on Thursday - moments after Nick gave his side of the story in a talk with the Today Show. 

The banking heir insisted his intentions had nothing to do with the actress - and dismissed suggestions he was taking her to court because he could not get over her.

'It has nothing to do with a baby or her baby,' he said. 'Lives were created.'

The actress hit back at her former flame's legal action and said on Good Morning America Thursday, in a pretaped interview: 'I've been working very hard for 20 years to get to this point where I am, enjoying my movie,' she said.

'I promote all my movies, all my work, but I don't like promoting my private life and I don't understand why this person... I don't want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this.'

But as he appeared simultaneously on the Today show, Loeb insisted his intentions had nothing to do with her - and dismissed suggestions he was taking her to court because he could not get over her.

'It has nothing to do with a baby or her baby,' he said. 'Lives were created.'

And despite Vergara's suggestion on Howard Stern's Sirius XM program earlier this week that Loeb hated her, the 39-year-old businessman and banking heir said this was not the case.

She also dismissed his likelihood of being able to take the female embryos, which he wants to take to full term by using a surrogate, and bring up the children.

'There's papers signed. There is a court date,' she said. 'He shouldn't be creating something so ugly out of nothing.'

The case will be in court on May 22.

He told the Today show that he has told Vergara that she can waive all financial responsibility and he will bring up the children alone.

'I can give these children a wonderful life,' he said. 'These girls will be raised knowing that they have a father who fought for them.'

But he also said that he would be happy for Vergara and her fiance Manganiello to take the embryos and bring them to full term, 'as long as I was involved in the process'.

And he dismissed her earlier claims that children need two parents. 

20 million single parents in this world and... they're all working really hard to bring up children,' he said. 'I don't think there's anything with being wrong with being a single father or a single mother raising a child in America today.

On April 29, Nick published a New York Times op-ed arguing that he should be able to use the embryos because he always dreamed of becoming a father - regardless of his relationship status with Sofia.

He told the paper that in 2013, the couple decided to try to use in vitro fertilization and a surrogate to have children when they were engaged.

Sofia's lawyer Fred Silberberg told People that she 'has never wanted to destroy her embryos.'

However, she's not planning on using them either, the attorney said in the statement, adding that Vergara 'is content to leave the embryos frozen indefinitely as she has no desire to have children with her ex.'

Also on Thursday Vergara's Summer issue of Cosmo For Latinas came out.

In it she said she has already set a wedding date with Joe. The former model said kids could be in the future with the looker.

'When you're with somebody that hasn't had kids, and you want to start a relationship, of course there's always that question,' she said.

'And if it happens, it will be something that will make us very happy, but it's not a priority in our lives.'

She said: 'I had to invite like all my family, and Joe has a lot of friends. So it became bigger and bigger and bigger.'
