Jasmin Walia turns up to Aladdin panto press night dressed as Princess Jasmine

Wishing for a part? Jasmin Walia turns up to Aladdin panto press night dressed as Princess Jasmine

|
Her first name is Jasmin and even she probably wouldn't disagree she likes to be treated like a princess.
However, perhaps dressing like Princess Jasmine from Aladdin when she isn't even in the pantomime was a bit over-the-top for TOWIE star Jasmin Walia.
The reality TV star went in full costume to the press night of the new production of Aladdin at the New Wimbledon Theatre in London on Monday night.

Clearly thrilled with her toned figure, Jasmin showed off her flat tummy in a blue cropped top and loose trousers.
Rather awkwardly, it appeared Jasmin was the only one who had gone in costume, with most of the celebrity guests leaving it up to the cast to do the dressing up.
However, as panto fans know, there isn't a Princess Jasmine in the original Aladdin tale, having been conceived by Disney for their 1992 animation film.

No doubt, Jasmin may have felt a bit disappointed to see her Princess doppelganger wasn't part of the stage production on Monday night.
Missing out on the evening was Jasmin's TOWIE love interest Dan Osborne, who she has been enjoying friendly 'dates' with in the most recent series of the ITV2 show.
However, she was in good company with another TOWIE co-star Frankie Essex who also attended.

The new production of the classic panto stars Jo Brand as The Genie and Matthew Kelly as Widow Twankey.
Speaking recently about playing the Genie, Jo told the Daily Telegraph: 'I’ll try anything once, within reason.

'And after doing stand-up for so long, which is a weird and solitary experience, I’m looking forward to being with a big group of people and having a laugh.'
The production also stars musical veteran Oliver Thornton, known perhaps most famously for his role in the stage show of Priscilla: Queen Of The Desert, in the lead role of Aladdin.
And the role marks something of a departure for Oliver, being his very first pantomime.

A source told The Sun: ‘Ronnie spent the night leaning over the table gazing at Laila. They were very relaxed with each other and he couldn’t take his eyes off her.
‘She has been brilliant at helping him with his stress and depression.’
Laila who is a few years older than Ronnie at 41-year-old also has a child from a previous relationship.
She has a five-year-old from her relationship with business tycoon Nasir Khan who was jailed in 2007 for nine years for a £250million VAT fraud.

The engagement is no doubt a silver lining for Ronnie who has had a difficult year after making the decision to quit the game.
At the time his manager said he was taking a break from the sport as he was suffering from health and personal problems.
Since then Ronnie has revealed that he has been spending his time labouring on a farm for free.
Speaking about his new role, he said: ‘I have been doing about three days a week and really enjoying it.
‘It has been kind of the complete opposite to what I was going through the last couple of years in snooker.’

Millie, who stars in Made In Chelsea, is unlikely to have been introduced to the chart topping stars before as they aren't regulars on the wealthy west London scene.
Still, the 22-year-old was all smiles as she stood on the red carpet with her arms wrapped around her man.

He tweeted excitedly from the red carpet about seeing some of his friends from the world of music and said: 'Mad turn out... Everyone is 'ere!'#
It appears that Millie had quite the appetite as she made short work of a large bucket of popcorn.
Stephen, 28, posted a picture of the remaining snack and said: 'Film hasn't even started and look what the bird has done to the popcorn! Liberties.'

While the couple made the extra effort to shine at the premiere, Tinie Tempah looked decidedly casual in a pair of jeans with a cardigan and white T-shirt.
Plan B didn't let the side down, however, and impressed in a light grey suit and patent black shoes.
The rapper, real name Ben Drew, wrote and directed Ill Manors and has also penned the soundtrack to the movie.
Brit award winner Ed Sheeran was also in attendance and was celebrating the continued success of his album +.

'The children brought up in areas such as this face an uphill struggle to succeed in life.'
'Now I feel that when you are only a kid growing up in these environments where they are getting beaten by their parents and they are made to feel like they have done something wrong, they are getting abused whether its mental or physical or sexual abuse, the way they act as an adult is a product of that'

'I guess this is a film about a bunch of people who come to that realisation.'
Ill Manors is a story set over the course of seven days in East London.
All the young characters are fighting for respect and their lives inter-loop through violence. Plan B narrates poetry throughout providing a running commentary which complement the shocking images on screen.
