Gwen Stefani stuns in shirt-dress at the Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet ...

Legs for days! Gwen Stefani stuns in shirt-dress at the Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet ...before donning slime-inspired mini-dress to take the stage

Gwen Stefani was a showstopper when she walked the orange carpet Saturday night for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
The 47-year-old had turned up to the cavalcade in a largely black shirt-dress with a perilously high hemline that allowed to her showcase her chiseled legs.
She'd slid into a set of fishnet black stockings that complemented her black boots, which stretched past the knee and had stiletto heels.

Her platinum blonde hair had been slicked severely back and then wound into a low ponytail, and she'd opted for bright pink lipstick.
The black shirt-dress was streaked with pale yellow and spattered with various patterns, including of letters and of an eye surrounded by gold rays.
Her orange, white and blue shorts, which had curved hems, managed to peek through from the bottom of her shirt-dress as she posed for photos.

Once she'd got inside the event, her hair and makeup had stayed as they were, but she'd swapped out the orange carpet dress for another number.
Green designs resembling slime - invoking the award show's yearly motif of dumping emerald-colored goo on a celebrity - streaked across her neckline and waistline.
The turtlenecked dress otherwise sported an off-white background covered in rectangular grey, white and black designs resembling windows.

Her black boots appeared to be the same as those she'd worn on the orange carpet as well, and the fishnet stockings had stayed as well.
Fishnets also stretched over her impressively taut midriff, which would otherwise have been exposed by a gap in her outfit.
In keeping with the theme of her look, the bottom half of her blonde ponytail was a shade roughly approximating that of her outfit's slime design.

The 43-year-old German-born model had donned a figure hugging black, orange and white dress with bits carved out the sides.
Her blonde hair tumbled freely over her shoulders, and she'd completed her ensemble by way of a pair of black ankle-strap stilettos.

Zendaya threatens to 'educate' Julie Klausner after the comedienne goes on ugly Twitter rant about beauty's thin frame

A new war! Zendaya threatens to 'educate' Julie Klausner after the comedienne goes on ugly Twitter rant about beauty's thin frame

Zendaya took home the trophy for favorite female TV star at Saturday's Kids' Choice Awards, but her celebrations came to a halt following an unexpected Twitter feud.
The 19-year-old came under fire as comedian Julie Klausner, 37, began posting about her thin frame, accusing the star of setting a poor example for 'impressionable tweens.'
Zendaya eventually hit back - referring to her response to Giuliana Rancic's racist remarks about her dreadlocks worn to the 2015 Oscars - writing: 'Do you find this funny? I will write another paragraph to educate you aswell #youreallywannabenext?'

Not a fan: The Difficult People star sent of a series of tweets about the Disney Channel star, saying she was 'perpetuating dangerous beauty standards for a generation of girls who grow up thinking they're fat'
It all began as the Difficult People star retweeted a post by The Hollywood Reporter, which mentioned that Zendaya had thanked parents for 'allowing me to be a role model for your children.'
'And thinspo model for your impressionable tweens,' Julie wrote, commenting on the K.C. Undercover star's weight.
She continued: 'Zendaya's ultimate retort to Giuliana Rancic is starving herself down to the size of one of her elbowz.'

'You don't have to have an eating disorder to attend the Kids' Choice Awards....but it helps!' Julie added.
The actress then likely began receiving criticism for her tweets on the popular Disney Channel star, as she changed tone, defending her choice to speak out about Zendaya's weight.
'I will never stop criticizing celebs who perpetuate dangerous beauty standards for a generation of girls who grow up thinking they're fat,' she wrote.
Thin: Zendaya's figure was called into question after she appeared at the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards

A good night: Ahead of the spat Zendaya - who sported a shimmery, black and silver dress and sky-high black heels - was likely feeling good as she was awarded with the trophy for favorite female TV star

'And you know those public fat shamers who fake "concern" for Melissa McCarthy's health? Consider me your fire with fire.'
She insisted the tweets were out of concern for 'the generation of girls who aspire to look like Zendaya.'
Julie also tweeted: 'I do not worry about Zendaya's health or care whether she eats.'
'FYI Zendaya and her fans are angry bc I insinuated this isn't a healthy look. The end,' she tweeted, along with another picture of Zendaya at the Kids' Choice Awards, as she commented on the negative response to her tweets.
How it all started: Julie's Twitter rant began after the star commented on pictures of Zendaya winning an orange blimp at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday (pictured with Anthony Anderson and Heidi Klum)

And though Zendaya had responded, threatening to 'educate' her as she had Giuliana, Julie was not deterred.
She first responded: 'Can't wait,' before also tweeting: 'Zendaya's threat to write another paragraph is more dread inducing than Kim Jong Un's fronting about the bomb he has.'
The teenager had also posted a message of body positivity to her fans, sharing: 'Now....everyone go look in the mirror at their beautiful body, and love that shit #thickgirlswinning #skinnygirlswinning #weallwinning.'
Hitting back: The outspoken teen eventually wrote back to Julie, saying she would write her 'another paragraph' to educate her as she had Giuliana Rancic following the 2015 Oscars, adding 'you really wanna be next?'

Julie, however, continued to argue with what she called the 'Zenhive,' saying she'd like to educate the teens on the fact 'that the Reagans ignored AIDS,' before adding she bets they 'love Bell Hooks,' and 'should be listening to GG Allin & reading Valerie Solanis!'
And fans were really upset as Julie pretended to end the feud, posting: 'Let's not fight. Here is my olive branch to Zendaya fans- can we just all agree that 1) all women are beautiful and 2) Zendaya hates Jews?'
She later wrote that she wished 'Joan Rivers weren't dead,' before sharing that she would like to live like she did.

Quite a suggestion: The comedian then tweeted speaking to Zendaya's fans, talking about how the Reagans handled the AIDS crisis before suggesting they would enjoy controversial and violent celebrities/public figures such as Bell Hooks and GG Allin

'I hope to live like Joan Rivers- making fun of skinny celebrities, never once having heard Zendaya sing, & more unrecognizable every year,' she wrote.
Zendaya, meanwhile, has kept mum on the issue since her earlier body positive tweet to her fans.
Last year she wrote a lengthy response on her social media accounts after Fashion Police co-host Giuliana said, of her dreadlocks worn to the 2015 Oscars, 'I feel like she smells like patchouli oil... or maybe weed.'
And it continues: Julie fought back against Zendaya's fans, with one receiving this response as they tried to defend her with an awkwardly worded tweet that said 'zendaya sticks up for aids'

'There is a fine line between what is funny and disrespectful,' she wrote. 'Someone said something about my hair at the Oscars that left me in awe. Not because I was relishing in rave outfit reviews, but because I was hit with ignorant slurs and pure disrespect.'
'To say that an 18-year-old young woman with locs must smell of patchouli oil or “weed” is not only a large stereotype but outrageously offensive. I don’t usually feel the need to respond to negative things but certain remarks cannot go unchecked.'
The TV personality apologized for the offensive remarks on Twitter, but refuted claims that what she had said was racist.
Not her first rodeo: Zendaya has previously dealt with harsh criticism as Fashion Police co-host Giuliana said that she looked like she smelled of 'patchouli oil or weed' after she wore dreadlocks to the 2015 Oscars (pictured)

'Dear @Zendaya, I'm sorry I offended you and others,' she tweeted. 'I was referring to a bohemian chic look. Had NOTHING to do with race and NEVER would!!!'
She later also apologized in a live TV broadcast before a rerun of the controversial Oscars episode.
'I just want everyone to know that I didn't intend to hurt anybody, but I learned it's not my intent that matters,' Giuliana said. 'It's the result. And the result is people are offended, including Zendaya. And that is not okay.'

Meanwhile, Julie currently stars on Hulu series Difficult People - for which she is the creator and a writer - which has an episode dedicated to the actress receiving backlash for an inappropriate tweet.
In the pilot, her character - also named Julie - tweets: 'I can’t wait for Blue Ivy to be old enough for R. Kelly to piss on her.'
The dark joke referred to Beyonce and Jay Z's toddler daughter as well as musician R. Kelly, who was accused in 2002 of urinating on a teenage girl.

'Uh oh. I tweeted something about Blue Ivy earlier and now the Internet is being really mean to me,' her character later says.
However, unlike in real life, Julie's character ends up deleting the offensive tweet, explaining that she 'hates fighting with people,' preferring instead 'saying something crazy and then leaving the room.'
