So it's fitting that Charli XCX wore a typically bold look when she performed live at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, on Saturday.

The brunette performer, 23, deftly commanded attention as she shamelessly flaunted her figure.

Clearly going for statement style, the singer/songwriter looked ready for attention in a black leather two-piece which was hard to miss.

Long-sleeved in detail, the dramatic wardrobe choice allowed people to see her taut tummy while also drawing particular attention to her cleavage.

Also featuring a zip up the side of her skirt, the ensemble certainly left little to the imagination.

Furthering her wacky look that little bit more, the musician capped her ensemble with a pair of black and black ankle boots.

Wearing her hair up in a tight bun, she slapped on plenty of make-up for a teenage gothic feel, while wearing glittery hair clips.

Taking to Twitter before her show - with support act Sophie - she wrote: 'SPECIAL GUEST COMING ON TONIGHT. GET READY 2 SIP IT UP AND FEEL CUTE SXSW!!!!'.

The latest sighting comes just weeks after she scooped a top accolade at the NME Awards.

The Boom Clap hit-maker reigned triumphant on the night as she scooped the gong for Best British Artist, beating out the likes of Adele, Noel Gallagher and Ed Sheeran.

The songwriter, who has collaborated with the likes of Rita Ora, told the crowd: 'This is weird, maybe I was the only person who showed up.'

She's been busy promoting her new film at the SXSW Film Festival.

And Bella Thorne was making the most of her free time to chill out with her boyfriend Gregg Sulkin, sharing a sexy poolside snap with her fans on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old actress can be seen reclining across Gregg's lap on a sun lounger, displaying her fantastic figure in a silver bikini.

Bella looked incredible in the metallic two-piece, which showcased her flat stomach and toned physique.

The Duff star couldn't help enthusing about her boyfriend in the accompanying caption, thanking him for his constant support.

She posted: 'Finally some relax time so happy I had this boy supporting me here :) now headed back to LA @greggsulkin #sxsw #iloveyou #happytuesday #traveltuesday #tan #tot #pool #boyfriend'.

Bella attended he premiere of her new movie Shovel Buddies in Austin, Texas on Monday and wowed in a shimmery figure-hugging frock.

It was a sexy look for the star as she showed off a little cleavage and added a bold red lipstick.

The Shake It Up star posed alongside her co-stars Kian Lawley, Anton Starkman and Philip Labes.

Shovel Buddies centres around a group of friends who go on an adventure to fulfill the final wish of their pal who died of leukemia - to be buried in his favourite football jersey.

Bella recently revealed that her two pet cats comfort her when she's having a bad day.

She told Us Weekly in their special celebrity pet feature: 'If I'm, like, crying or something, they'll come up to me and they'll just, like, snuggle me cause they know I'm having a bad day,

'That makes me feel so much better because, you know, then for a second I’m just thinking about them and what they want and not me and what I’m going through.' she added.

The actress adopted a Siamese cat called Louis in 2013 and then in January she announced on Instagram that she and boyfriend Gregg Sulkin added Lola, a Scottish Fold, Lola, into their family as well.

'She is so sweet. She really loves to play,' Bella said.

Meanwhile it recently emerged that Bella has added to her burgeoning property portfolio.

A source revealed to the Dailymail.com she and beau Gregg Sulkin are now proud homeowners.

The couple are moving from Studio City to their first home together in the leafy neighbouring Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles.

The child star was overheard sharing her good news at the Kari Feinstien Style Lounge in Hollywood earlier this month.

As the star arrived at the pre-Oscars gifting lounge, she made a beeline for anything to make their brand new house a home.

She's just as well known for her quirky style as she is for her music.

And British singer Paloma Faith made sure that she stood out from the crowd at South by Southwest festival in Texas on Saturday, wearing a bright red prom-style dress.

The 27-year-old Londoner created an edgy take on a retro 1950s style, pairing the dress with red stilettos and piling her orange hair on top of her head.

Paloma, who has just been announced as a special guest at Bruno Mars' debut show at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre next month, performed an intimate set at Peckerheads at the Austin Festival.

And the singer-songwriter made sure that all eyes were on her in her attention-grabbing ensemble as she put on a typically energetic show.

She had opted for the brightest possible colour for her performance outfit, making sure that her set was memorable for all of the festival-goers.

The stand-out dress has sheer panelling at the top and throughout the skirt, and looked dramatic paired with her huge hairstyle.

Continuing with the red theme she wore a splash of red lipstick and added a pair of red sunglasses as she headed outside for photos after the gig.

The Picking Up The Pieces star was joined by her equally glamorous backing singers, who wore green sequinned minidresses and matching stilettos.

And although the performance seemed to go off without a hitch, there was obviously a technical problem as she wrote on Twitter:

'Had a great time at SXSW even though the technical stuff was constantly shambolic!thank you to everyone watching x.'

And while her star might be on the rise, it seems that not everyone is a fan of the kooky performer, as Noel Gallagher recently criticised her, saying:

'You look at the ‘best’ now. Paloma Faith? Do me a favour. Who’s f****** decided she’s a star?'
