Model Shanina Shaik was among a host of celebrity arrivals at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in California on Friday.

And on Monday the Victoria's Secret Angel shared a snap to Instagram of her enjoying the last day.

The 26-year-old posed in the light of the California sunset to farewell the iconic music festival for another year.

Shanina Shaik posted a snap online of her enjoying the last day of the Coachella music festival

Shanina wore a high-neck brown tie-dye T-shirt that had been tied up to make a crop top.

She paired the top with a pair of high-waisted faded denim shorts that had rips in the ends.

Underneath the shorts she donned a pair of black fishnet stockings that had a small hole on her right thigh.

She accessorised with a black over-the-shoulder bag, a pair of black ankle boots and a black leather hat with a silver chain.

Despite receiving a backlash of hate comments online, Shanina was still rocking her braided hair look.

The model caused controversy with the hairstyle as several fans were quick to criticise the photo, with some even accusing her of 'cultural appropriation'.

Shanina, who is of Lithuanian, Pakistani and Saudi Arabian descent, showed off her Coachella style with her 894,000 Instagram followers.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Shanina's representatives for comment.

Meanwhile, other social media users defended Shanina, claiming she was entitled to wear braids because of her heritage.

Yet Shanina Shaik was back to her modelling best this week when she wowed in a new campaign for lingerie giant Love And Lemons - looking sensational in a bevy of barely-there bikinis.

The 25-year-old Australian beauty sizzled in her collection of swimwear and sexy underwear sets, which made the most of her incredible figure - complete with perky cleavage and washboard stomach.

Shanina previously walked in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Victoria's Secret shows, so her absence was felt in last month's Paris show.

Staring into the camera, the sizzling beauty narrowed her piercing blue eyes, which have become one of her key selling points in the fashion world.

Her next figure-enhancing ensemble was a push-up bra in a dusky pink hue with blue piping, which she paired with a straw sunhat to protect her from the searing rays.

The cover girl has been enjoying her time jet setting around the globe with her fiancé DJ Ruckus, born Gregory Andrews.

The Australian model had previously spoke about her diet, explaining that she's a big fan of sweet food, saying: 'I like to eat a lot of protein and vegetables, [and] drink lots of water. I love my food, I love chocolate, I like ice cream, so I'll eat it every now and then.'

As some of the world's top models they're comfortable flaunting their figures.

But Kendall Jenner and Emily Ratajkowski left hardly anything to the imagination as they stripped off for LOVE Magazine's Video Advent teaser, released on Tuesday.

Despite being a vocal advocate of the Free The Nipple campaign, Kendall, 20, allowed her legs to take the focus, layering a red satin bomber jacket over her navy lingerie set.

An advocate of embracing the female form, Emily Ratajkwoski, 25, showed off a sizeable amount of underboob in a barely-there black bodysuit.

With her toned stomach and ample bust on display, the model-turned-actress put on a sizzling display as she writhed around in the scanty one-piece.

But despite her lack of clothing, Emily wasn't the most revealing of the models, with Sports Illustrated star Hannah Ferguson going topless for her raunchy segment.

Another starlet making a show stopping appearance in the clip - directed by Hype Williams - was Jourdan Dunn, 26, who showed off her sensational figure in a racy pair of knickers as she froliced with balloons.

The London-born beauty put on a titillating display in the trailer - wearing nothing but a chic gold shirt and racy set of black lace knickers.

Clad in nothing but the briefs down below, the star's famously long and lean legs and glowing skin was left on full display as she posed fiercely for her festive clip.

Adding a chunky glittering belt to her middle, Jourdan cinched in at her enviably shapely waist to enhance her slender figure as she displayed her model prowess in front of a selection of colourful balloons.

The sultry teaser takes shape as a piquant roll call of endless stunning models, also including the likes of Stella Maxwell and Sofia Richie.

Irish beauty Stella, 25, and Sofia, who is making her LOVE Advent debut this year, are seen dancing and strutting their stuff in barely-there leotards.

Swedish model Elsa Hosk also makes a sizzling appearance, giving a glimpse of her peachy derriere in a racy thong but maintaining an edge with a leather biker jacket.

Other stunners in the teaser, who are set to make an appearance over the 25 videos, which are each released daily throughout December, include Sara Sampaio, Taylor Hill, Nina Agdal, Hailey Baldwin, Sara Sampaio, Alessandra Ambrosio and even Kim Kardashian.

Doing it for the Brits however are Daisy Lowe, Abbey Clancy, Alexa Chung, Georgia May Jagger and Rita Ora - who will also be involved in the festive frolics.

Directed by Hype Williams, this year's much-anticipated trailer and advent calendar has a trendier and more modern feel to previous years - thanks to the models' grungier outfits, and the effortlessly cool backing track of Kanye West's Fade.

Not only the models taking centre stage however, the event is supported by designers Marc Jacobs Beauty, Agent Provocateur, DSquared2, and Coach - and is set to feature plenty of their high-fashion items.

Now in its sixth year, LOVE’s seasonal stream of videos launches this Thursday, 1 December, with a new film released daily throughout the month.
