Sport Relief 2014 raises £31,015,948 in just THREE hours with help from Kylie Minogue, David Beckham and Little Mix

Sport Relief 2014 got off to amazing start on Friday evening, raising more than £31 million in just three hours.
Viewers dug deep into their pockets as they saw some rather famous faces, including David Beckham and Kylie Minogue, throw their support behind the annual fundraiser.
The first half of the night saw Golden Balls himself hang out with Del Boy and Rodney in Peckham, the Aussie singer duet with Jason Donovan for the first time in 25 years and Little Mix sing the official single for the event.

David Walliams and Gary Lineker kicked off the BBC1 show, before being joined by Davina McCall later in the night.
Live from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, the jokes come thick and fast with the comedian, 42, winding up the former footballer, 53, by referring to him as his father before taking a pretty unflattering selfie.
Dressed in coordinated monochrome looks, former X Factor winners Little Mix were first the band of the night to grace the stage with an energetic performance of Word Up.

The girls were later seen visiting a hospital in Liberia to meet the children who could be helped with Sport Relief funds.
Jade, 21, is heard saying that their were 'sick kids everywhere' the group looked, with problems that could have easily been prevented.
They also meet Anthony, four, who has malaria, and after being told by a doctor that for every ten children he sees, you 'lose three or four', it all becomes too much for Perrie Edwards who is seen wiping away her tears.
'Nothing can prepare you for what you see. It's frustrating. There's no reason for them to be ill. It's £5 for a mosquito net', Perrie adds.

Flintoff was seen cycling his team into an early lead as the two celebrity teams went head to head at the Velodrome.
The Men's Elimination Race saw former decathlete Daley Thompson fire the starting gun, before Bishop became the first to be cut from the group of six, followed by Bacon, James, leaving just three to compete for the title.
The former cricketer, who had even fallen off his bicycle earlier in the race, made a sprint and easily took the maximum six points, leaving Olly Murs and Patrick Kielty in second and third respectively.

Sport Relief does Strictly Come Dancing, hosted by Tess Daly, was next in the proceedings which saw Paralympians David Clarke, Martine Wright, Nathan Stephens, Hannah Cockroft take to the dancefloor.
Gold-medal winning athlete Lee Pearson joined Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman on the panel to cast their eyes over the competitors who all danced together.
Lee said he didn't know what to expect, but David managed a spectacular lift, while Darcey said Martine brought passion to the routine.
Hannah told Tess: 'It's been phenomenal, I've loved every second', while Martine said it had helped her to discover dance again.
However it was Hannah who took home the Glitterball medal with her partner Pasha Kovalev.

Davina McCall, 46, also got a chance to relive her exhausting and emotional triathlon, Beyond Breaking Point, which she was told had raised a remarkable £2,239,931.
'There were moments when it was amazing, and my hardest day was my first bike ride and when I got into Lake Windermere, I just started panicking.
'The shock of getting into the water which was so cold slowed me down. When I saw the finish line, I was running towards my kids, it was amazing', she said.
Before her challenge, Davina had met with a young girl called Anne who worked in a quarry in Nairobi.
She told her that the evening was what made her happy, which reminded the star of another young woman who she had met over ten years ago and who had since graduated from university after help from Sport Relief.

Next up in the Clash of the Titans event was synchronised swimming, luckily with help from a number of glamorous professionals.
Presenter Kielty, representing his team, took to the pool to Pharrell's Happy in a tight red swimsuit before attempting a big lift at the end. He was awarded 28 points.
Radio 1 DJ James went second, and after stripping off his suit to reveal a sparkly blue number, he performed to the theme tune from The Apprentice, before finding out he had achieved one less point than his rival.

After 25 years, Kylie Minogue performed Especially For You, while showing off her pins in a little black miniskirt.
But, leaving viewers guessing as to whether Jason Donovan would be there like in the original hit, she sang with David Walliams who donned a blonde wig, waistcoat and super white teeth.
However fans were not left disappointed, as the Aussie star did arrive on stage to sing with his former Neighbours costar.

The Titans then faced Rhythmic Gymnastics, and after training for several weeks, it was Bishop, Grimshaw and Skelton who went first.
Looking 'splendid' in Lycra, the two males waved their fluorescent ribbons enthusiastically as they paraded around the arena while trying to be as elegant as possible. The trio were given 23 points.
With a hoop in hand, Phillips looked to be having a great time as she was joined by Coe and Murs, who couldn't fail to amuse viewers with his moves. They were awarded 27 points, and therefore won an event for the first time in the night.

The part of the show that everyone had been waiting for was up next, as Beckham went to Peckham for a special edition of Only Fools and Horses.
Cutting to a busy market scene, Del Boy is seen offering punters a pair of 'authentic David Beckham underpants', which Rodney is seen modelling very reluctantly and unsuccessfully.
After asking him to show possible buyers what made them special, he turns around to reveal a signature by the footballer on the back.
After packing up and heading to the cafe after a lack of sales, the brothers were seen enjoying a cup of tea while Rodney told Del he wasn't going degrade himself again in the object of making money.

The camera then cut to David Beckham himself, who is sat next to them in the cafe.
They start arguing over whose idea it was to sign the 'boxer briefs', as well as Rodney's lack of enthusiasm.
The former Manchester Unite star admits why he refused to model them, after 'Fergie almost killed' him last time, before being asked by his companions as to why he was wearing dark-rimmed spectacles.
'I am trying to in-cognitive', he says.
Offering advice on how best to model the pants in future, David tells him: 'Most people think modelling is about standing there looking great, but there's more to it than that. Just remember a good model doesn't just walk, he glides. They don't just turn, they oscillate.'
After listening to what he says, Rodney gives it another go. As Beckham watched from the side, he is asked to sign a football by a fan, before falling over, reminiscent of Del Boy's famous bar scene.
Boyzone meanwhile finsihed the proceedings from the first half of the show, with a performance of Everything I Own.

Little Mix's Jesy Nelson shows off new skull and rose tattoo as band reveal sneak peek of athletic looks for Sport Relief video

    |
She may only be 22 but Jesy Nelson has added yet another tattoo to her ever-growing collection.
The Little Mix singer took to her Instagram account to reveal a picture of her latest inking on her left arm - a scary-looking skull with a rose going through it and popping out of the eye socket.
She wrote: 'new tattttt added to the famalam :D x (sic)'
As well as posting an image on the social networking site, Jesy showed off her latest tattoo in new pictures of the girl group rehearsing their latest music video for Sport Relief single Word Up.

The girl group – who are made up of Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – took to their joint Instagram account to post a selection of pictures and videos of them rehearsing the charity track.
Following in the footsteps of One Direction – who recorded the official Comic Relief single One Way or Another last year – the Salute hitmakers showed off a number of jokey seductive poses in one short clip.
Dressed in a garish orange tracksuit, Jade, 21, wiggled her hips from side to side before Jesy while sporting a red, black and white checked shirt tied around her waist, placed her foot on a nearby desk and began to move her shoulders in a circular motion.

The clip then cut to Leigh-Anne, who ran her hands through her big brown hair while wearing a white crop top and matching skirt.
In a caption attached to the video, Little Mix posted: ‘Sexy time slow jamz! xx Little Mix xx (sic)’
While the trio were practising their moves, Perrie was busy rolling back the years to her childhood and laughing as she slid down a slide with production worker Samantha Cox.
She wrote: ‘Taking a quick break from shooting with @iamsamcoxy #BigKids (sic)’
In one clip, Leigh-Anne’s arms were bizarrely taped to her chest with bright green, pink and blue tape as she and Perrie danced to their version of Word Up and revealed they are looking forward to performing the song when they support US singer Demi Lovato on tour later this year.

In response to one fan, the 20-year-old star – who is engaged to One Direction’s Zayn Malik – said: ‘My favourite Demi Lovato song is hard to pick because I love her so much it’s incredible. But I love some of her old stuff like Don’t Forget and I love Skyscraper.’
Answering another, Perrie said: ‘The song on the album Salute that makes me want to dance the most is probably Salute. Seriously, every time that comes on I’m like damn.’
And fans were clearly keen to find out if the star still has a neck piercing as she said in one video: ‘So, do I still have a neck piercing?’

Comfort over style! Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock go casual in onesies as Little Mix jet back from charity trip to Liberia

      |
They're known for their eye-catching outfits when they take to the stage for their energetic performances.
But Little Mix singers Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock took the comfort over style route to their jetsetting ensemble as the group flew back from Liberia on Sunday.
Both the singers sported heart-print onesies as they touched down in London after a charity trip to to the West African country to raise money and awareness for Sport Relief.

Jade opted for a navy onesie with red love hearts on it, while Leigh-Anne went for a grey version of the same all-in-one.
The singers both teamed the outfits with Timberland boots as they were photographed heading home from the airport.
And they both accessorised their jetsetting outfits with sunglasses, clearly slightly tired after what was a long flight.
Individual styles: Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson still went casual but with more unique looks for the flight home

Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson went for more individual approaches with their looks.
Blonde-haired Perrie went for an Eighties look in a pair of dark acid-wash jeans and a loose-fitting white T-shirt.
She finished her look with a black cat and white Converse trainers.

Jesy, meanwhile, kept her outfit covered up under a leather-sleeved, fur-trimmed coat, giving just a hint of her baggy black trousers and trainers beneath.
While Jade and Leigh-Anne appeared in good spirits as they arrived back in London, Jesy and Perrie seemed in more sombre spirits.
Perhaps it was the heart-rending nature of their trip to Liberia that had a lasting effect on the girls as they arrived home.

The girls also recently revealed that they would be covering the Cameo track Word Up as the official single for Sport Relief, which runs from 21st to 23rd March.
Perrie said of the track: 'We've seen people push themselves and do incredible things for Sport Relief. It's a dream come true to be releasing the official single this year.'
