But Rosario Dawson went a little bit too racy as she attended the more conservative 98th Annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.

The 32-year-old actress made her presence known as she slipped into an incredibly low-cut green gown.

So low was the attire, it was surprising that Miss Dawson managed to avoid a wardrobe malfunction.

However, everything appeared to remain in tact and the actress happily posed for pictures in eye-popping gown.

The shiny almost PVC material also added to the somewhat tacky nature of the gown.

Rosario hardly distracted away from her decolletage area with her accessories either, merely carrying a clutch bag and wearing a simple bracelet on her arm.

Despite her wardrobe mishap there is no doubt that Dawson possess a killer physique.

Last year she revealed her method in staying picture perfect to Shape magazine.

The actress said she does't like to deny herself a treat or two.

'Whether it craves fresh vegetables or foie gras nothing makes me feel better than having something I really enjoy,' the actress says.

Rosario said that she never beats herself up about indulging: 'The stress you put yourself through for having a treat is probably a thousand times worse for you than the sugar you just had.'

And she didn't always eat whatever she wanted. 'My mom was practising vegan and raw diets years ago, so I understood healthy eating at a young age,' she told the magazine.

'We even belonged to the local co-op. I mean we had Spam too because we were poor and had to take whatever we could get but we stopped eating white bread when I was six.'
