Readying the release of her new single, Alexandra Burke found some time in her busy work schedule to take her mother for a bite to eat.
The former X Factor winner treated her 46-year-old mother to a meal at The Ivy in central London.

The 23-year-old looked lovely as she showed off her toned legs in pair of black heels which she teamed with a short black dress and a leather jacket.
Alexandra accessorised the outfit with a large handbag, red lipstick and bright yellow nail polish.
She finished off the look by wearing her brown dip-dyed hair down in a centre parting.

Alexandra took to her Twitter account to express how happy she was to be taking time off work commitments and spending time with her mother.

The two who have obviously put their differences to the side since the days when Alexandra first found fame on the X Factor were pictured holding hands and smiling as they left the exclusive restaurant which is located in the heart of London.

Burke's mother, Melissa Bell the former Soul II Soul singer, wore a grey Aztec print jacket with black dress and black leggings.
Bell completed her look with a Louis Vuitton handbag and a black head scarf.
She later uploaded a photo montage to the micro blogging site via her Instagram account of her and her mother.
The caption on the picture read, 'Date with ma mama was too much fun! Night from us x'
