Double take: Jessica Biel is a dead ringer for Psycho actress Vera Miles
Jessica Biel, the sexy star of The Illusionist, donned a buttoned-up beige dress that fell below the knee and wore a drab carmel-coloured wig to magically transform into her character on the set of her new movie, Hitchcock.
Filming at a similar Hollywood studio where the British director used to make his haunting films in the 1960s, Biel was captured yesterday chatting and laughing with crew members during a set break.

Beigy: The carmel coloured wig matched the outfit Jessica Biel wore on the set of Hitchcock yesterday in Los Angeles
In costume: The 1960s clothes worn by actor James D'Arcy and Biel seem odd next to this woman who is holding a modern cell phone
The real deal: Vera Miles in the original role of Lila Crane in Psycho
Biel, 30, was cast alongside Anthony Hopkins, Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren and James D'Arcy in the movie, which is about the making of Hitchcock's scariest film, Psycho.
While Johansson plays Janet Leigh, the actress killed in the infamous shower scene, Biel plays the character of the murdered woman's sister, originally played by Vera Miles.
Biel broke character during the break by laughing it up with D'Arcy, cast in the role of crazed killer Norman Bates.
Quick change artist: Biel arrives on the set wearing comfortable, flowing clothes but changes into a form-fitting dress and short wig
Clearly in the mood for her upcoming wedding to singer Justin Timberlake, Biel began the day wearing all white.
With her naturally chestnut hair silkily framing her face, she looked like a flower child as her baggy trousers fell about her hips and a white T-shirt barely concealed her tummy.
A white sweater was perfect for the balmy day.
