The model – who turns 39 next month – has released a video on Facebook featuring herself as an 18-year-old, just as she was breaking into the industry in her native Germany.

The blonde bombshell, who flaunts brunette locks in the compilation of clips, dons a purple bathing suit with scoop back and high bikini line as she parades her figure around a pool area.
In a range of shots for her show-reel, she can be seen lounging back on an inflatable bed before eventually immersing herself in the water.
She submitted the video for a television modeling competition back in the early Nineties and as she emerges with drenched hair it’s easy to see why the teenager appealled so much to her countrymen.

She shared the memories of her time on Model 92 with her Facebook fans earlier this week.
Klum wrote along with the post: ‘Since so many of you have been responding to my early modeling photos, I wanted to show you how it all began... I won a televised modeling contest in Germany when I was 18 years old. Enjoy!’
Out of 25,000 contestants, she was voted the winner and offered a modeling contract worth $300,000 by Thomas Zeumer, CEO of Metropolitan Models New York.

However she accepted the contract a few months later after graduating from school and decided not to try for an apprentice position at a fashion design school.
The film short sees the young budding star competing against two other ladies but shoots ahead in a poll.
Heidi can also be seen bouncing across a dance studio and standing underneath a waterfall while running her fingers through her hair.

Despite not getting together with her estranged husband until 2004, it seems Heidi has had quite an attachment to Seal for some time.
At one point as she takes part in a fashion show, his track Crazy can be heard playing as accompanying music.
They announced their split earlier this year and ironically the lyrics feature the repetitive line, ‘Miracles will happen as we trip. But we’re never gonna survive.’

Meanwhile the single mother has told E! that she has changed a lot since her start int he business.
'I think between 40 and 50, you just have to give it your all. You just have to do it all. You're still somewhat young. When you turn 50, that's when we're getting a little more settled, more quiet.'
Klum laughed when asked what she'll be doing at 50: 'I'll probably be hanging from a chandelier.'

Yesterday she was revealed as the face as Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy.
In significantly more covered up attire she was pictured with a full basket of the products at a Rite Aid store in Beverly Hills as she wore a glamorous black frock.
