Security tightened for BGT winner Pudsey after dognapping threats

The winner of this year's Britain's Got Talent contest Pudsey the dog and his owner Ashleigh Butler have splashed out some of their winnings on extra security.
The prize-winning pooch, who helped Ashleigh scoop a whopping £500,000 with his doggie dancing routine, is now thought to be at risk of being poached by dognappers.
In order to protect Pudsey an 8ft brick wall is being built around the family home, complete with security lights and cameras.

15 million viewers tuned into see Pudsey and 17 year old Ashleigh win the ITV1 talent contest, which has left the teen and her parents anxious their pet will be abducted.
A source told the Sun'A pile of bricks and mortar is probably not what most people would spend some of their half a million quid on, but for Ashleigh it’s essential.
'Pudsey is Britain’s most recognisable dog and a real temptation for dognappers.
'So they’ve booked a firm to come round, rip down the old wooden fence and install a proper brick wall.'

The dancing dog has proved to be such a big hit that Simon Cowell has even hinted that this tail wagging talent should be taken to the US audiences.
The superstar joked that there was a '50/50 chance Pudsey may be a guest judge on the X Factor'.
