Philip Treacy? The one who makes hats for royals and pop stars? Yes. He crafted these amazing pieces for the recent Investec Derby Festival at Epsom and styled Gemma – official face of the event – in them. He chose the chic 30-year-old Oxford law graduate to show that hats are ‘all about having fun’.
Hats aside, what’s next for Gemma? New film Jack Ryan with Keira Knightley, due out at Christmas, and Channel 4’s current drama series Dates, about the minefield of first dates. It stars an ensemble British cast – including Sheridan Smith and Ben Chaplin – and Gemma plays Erica, a woman struggling to come out to her family.
Speaking of dating, is she single? No. Gemma and comedian Jack Whitehall met on the set of Fresh Meat two years ago and have recently moved in together. He took her to Nando’s on their first date and they’ve been making each other giggle ever since.
