SPOILER ALERT: Coronation Street's Tina McIntyre turns to the bottle after deciding to hand over son to his biological parents
Tina McIntyre, played by Michelle Keegan, turns to alcohol to help her deal with giving the baby she carried to his biological parents.
In images from scenes yet to be aired on Coronation Street the actress is seen swigging from a bottle of vodka on a park bench.
Looking distraught Tina, who acted as a surrogate, places her head in her hands after finally deciding to hand the little boy over to Gary (Mikey North) and Izzy (Cherylee Houston).

As she sits in the park drowning her sorrows she is confronted by a group of youths who demand a swig from her bottle of vodka.
However dishevelled looking Tina is not just upset but angry and surprises the gang as she jumps to her feet and threatens to punch them if they don’t go away.
Once she is left on her own again to continue contemplating her heart-breaking decision, Marcus (played by Charlie Condou) chances upon her.

A lot on her mind: The actress looked deep in thought in between taking swigs of her drink
As he appears to try and offer her words of comfort and perhaps some words of advice it looks as if she is not listening to what he is saying.
In between breaks from filming Michelle switched back to her normal chirpy self and was seen laughing while still holding the bottle of vodka.
Dressed in a yellow tank top, she also held on to a hot water bottle to keep her warm when the camera wasn’t on her.

Viewers will see the star dealing with a very difficult decision regarding her baby on Monday evening’s show.
Faced with the decision of giving up the child she had in her womb for nine months, she struggles to hand him over to his biological parents.
Tina had accepted the challenge of carrying the baby - in exchange for money from Izzy's father - but developed a connection during the pregnancy cycle.

Gary and Izzy are not surprisingly horrified when Tina declares that she will keep him as she is his legal mother.
Tensions run high as neither party wants to back down, with Izzy eventually sobbing: 'I won't tear him to pieces. You've won Tina. He's yours.'
But seeing the pain on her friend's face proves just as difficult to deal with so Tina DOES hand over the child eventually.
Judging by the outfit she was wearing in scenes from Monday night, it looks as if she hits the park straight away to deal with her decision.
