BBC Breakfast's Susanna Reid latest star 'to sign up' for new series of Strictly Come Dancing 2013
She impressed the judges when she took part in the Children In Need version of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2011.
And now it seems that BBC Breakfast presenter Susanna Reid has signed up to be one of the contestants for this year's main show.
According to reports, the 42-year-old news anchor will be juggling her training with her Breakfast commitments as she tries to bag the Glitterball trophy.
Latest sign-up? Susanna Reid has reportedly signed up to star on this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing
'We’re delighted to get Susanna on the show. She is the most popular thing on breakfast TV and is loved by millions,' an insider told The Daily Mirror.
The mother-of-three proved her dancing credentials when she performed a routine with Robin Windsor for the charity show, and is set to be partnered with him again.
But instead of taking time out from her day job to concentrate in Strictly, the star will reportedly have to try her best to do both.
'She is used to getting up early for her job, but she faces a tough schedule now to fit everything in along with her family life,' added the source.

Last year Susanna hinted that she might appear on the main show at some point, following in the footsteps of Breakfast co-host Bill Turnbull.
'I did the Children In Need one with Robin Windsor as my professional dance partner. Bill Turnbull has done the full one and if I had the opportunity to dance with Robin again I would not say no,' she said.
Susanna will be joined by Vanessa Feltz who is the first confirmed contestant, confirming the news during a surprise appearance on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 Breakfast show on Thursday morning.
The official Twitter account for the BBC Saturday night show tweeted a photo of Vanessa in her sequins after the news was announced, captioning it: ‘Here's an exclusive snap of #VanessaFeltz on set yesterday in her gorgeous sequinned dress!’

Other names rumoured to be in talks to battle it out for the glitterball trophy on the 2013 series include rugby player Ben Cohen, designer Julien Macdonald, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, model Abbey Crouch and Hairy Biker Dave Myers.
One celeb who won’t be hitting the dance floor though is Olympic swimming champ Rebecca Adlington.
The 24-year-old was in talks to appear in the new series but has revealed that despite being invited to meet the show’s producers she was turned down for a spot.

Strictly Come Dancing 2013: BBC news presenter Susanna Reid signs up to take part
She is said to be “thrilled” by the opportunity although she will have to juggle her training with her gruelling BBC Breakfast schedule
BBC Breakfast star Susanna Reid has signed up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The stunning 42-year-old is said to be “thrilled” by the opportunity to take to the dancefloor – although she will have to juggle her training with a gruelling commute.
Three days a week the sultry news presenter takes the train several hundred miles from her home in South London to Salford, Greater Manchester, where BBC Breakfast is now based.
The star – who showcased an enviable pair of pins during a BBC newsreaders’ Strictly Children in Need routine in 2011 – hinted that she would consider appearing on the show when she spoke to the Mirror last October.
She said: “I did the Children In Need one with Robin Windsor as my professional dance partner. Bill Turnbull has done the full one and if I had the opportunity to dance with Robin again I would not say no.”
A show insider said it’s possible that because of their experience the pair could be given less time than other competitors to learn the first dance. The source added: “We’re delighted to get Susanna on the show.

She has been a BBC journalist for almost 20 years and a regular presenter on Breakfast since 2003 where she has covered many major news stories from the capture of Saddam Hussein to the death of Michael Jackson.
