Le Vell, who plays mechanic Kevin Webster, hasn't been seen in the ITV soap since February.
The character's absense was explained by his ex-wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) that he had gone to Germany after his father Bill had a heart attack.
Corrie producer Stuart Blackburn said recently: 'At the point when Kevin was forced to leave for Germany, he was actually looking to get back together with Sally.

'We’re just delighted to have Michael back with us, and we’re hoping he’ll be back on screen in March/April.'
