Here she comes! Helen Flanagan steals the show in sequined silver gown as she makes an appearance at Manchester fundraiser The Mirror Ball
She’s said to be aiming for grittier film roles as she endeavours to breathe new life into her stuttering screen career.
But stepping out on Friday evening, Helen Flanagan appeared to be reading from a different script as she sashayed into the annual Mirror Ball in an elegant silver gown with sequined embellishments.
The former Coronation Street star was on good form as she posed for photos outside Manchester’s Lowry Hotel ahead of the bash, which helps raise money for local communities in Greater Manchester.

Here she comes! Helen Flanagan makes her presence felt at the Mirror Ball in Manchester on Friday evening
Helen, 23, looked like she was ready for an awards show – but there were no prizes on offer for the young actress on Friday evening as she climbed the steps and made her way inside.
Her dress was all the more distinctive thanks to an off the shoulder detail and thigh length split – a feature that enabled to show off a generous portion of her left leg.
Helen completed another memorable ensemble with a pair of strappy silver heels, while the hard to miss Chanel clutch she brandished in both hands added an additional designer flourish.

The actress, who made something of a name for herself as a petrified contestant on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, recently spoke of her dreams of netting film roles with more gravitas and insisted she would schmooze directors at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
One such role comes in forthcoming film B**ch – in which she plays a bullying victim.
‘It's really gritty and it's terrible actually because it's based on a true story,’ she told the Daily Star. ‘It's tragic. The girls who did it are in prison now.’

The Mirror Ball was originally devised by local celebrity hairdresser Andrew Trott-Barn in 2011 in honour of his birthday and his recovery from a brain tumour.
Now into its third year, the bash raises money for Forever Manchester, a charity that funnels money back into local communities across the city.
Friday’s Hollywood glamour themed event comes as the charity celebrates its 25th anniversary and aims to better last year’s grand total of £13,000.
