So it's fitting Zoe Saldana looked out of the world in a behind-the-scenes Instagram snap she shared on Friday.
The 38-year-old actress was wearing quite an edgy look for the Allure magazine shoot.

On top she sported a white long sleeve crop top that provided a look at her amazingly flat tummy.
A pair of jewel-encrusted high-waist shorts showed off just a hint of the Colombiana star's pert posterior.
Finally, she accentuated her lithe legs with some head-turning red velvet thigh-high boots.
Also quite eye-catching was her heavily applied make-up, which featured a generous amount of black eye-shadow and eye-liner, along with some light rose-coloured lipstick.
Her raven tresses appear to be shoulder length, and are quite messy.
It looked as though she was enjoying herself at the shoot in the photo, and was perhaps stretching to get ready for another stint in front of the camera.
In contrast to the edgy look she shared on Instagram, the Allure cover showed a far more conventional looking Zoe.
That shot shows the Avatar star smiling at the camera, sporting a slick of crimson lipstick, light blush and reasonable eye makeup.
Her dark locks are down and are seemingly being blown back by a gust of wind.

Zoe is still coming to terms with the death of her friend and co-star Anton Yelchin who was buried on Friday after he was killed by his own car in a freak accident.
