They're both prolific faces on the glamorous London social scene.

And Gemma Arterton and Laura Whitmore injected some effortless elegance to the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park, Berkshire, on Sunday.

Actress Gemma, 30, and TV presenter Laura, 31, made the most of the sunshine in stylish summery ensembles.

The former Bond star looked pretty in pastel high-waisted trousers featuring unusual slits which showed off her strappy silver sandals.

Gemma wore a simple white vest tucked into her trousers, accessorising with a pastel Mulberry clutch.

The brunette kept her glossy locks in a simple sleek bob and showed off her natural beauty under minimal make-up.

The British star was seen mingling with her 27-year-old sister Hannah - also an actress, and Game of Thrones actress Eline Powell.

Walking On Sunshine star Hannah looked pretty in pink in a loose summer dress with ruffled sleeves, completing her relaxed look with gold sandals and feathery earrings.

Like her sister, she wore minimal make-up, tying her blonde hair in a loose ponytail.

Meanwhlie, Eline - who plays Bianca in GoT, looked radiant in a printed tea dress, accessorising with nude sandals and a clutch.

The GoT matched her bold drop earrings to her red lipstick, tying her brunette hair into a low ponytail revealing her glowing complexion.

Gemma also posed alongside Captain America star Dominic Cooper and Jon Zammett, Head of PR for Audi UK - both looking dapper in smart suits.

Gemma is currently starring as Nell Gwynn in the West End's Apollo Theatre, a role she has received much praise for.

Meanwhile blonde beauty Laura stunned in a blue off-the-shoulder Aztec dress, adding an assortment of gold bracelets, arm cuffs, rings and a choker to her outfit.

The 31-year-old Irish presenter completed the look with gold sandals and a nude clutch.

Keeping her make-up light, she wore a red lip and an impressive set of lashes. 

The MTV star posed alongside TV cook Gizzi Erskine, who wore a blue shirt dress boasting a white statement collar, along with star-print loafers and a cute box bag.

Laura has reportedly been shortlisted for Big Brother’s Bit On The Side star, after announcing she’d quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now! last month.

Bond star Colin Salmon looked smart in a sand-coloured suit, while his wife Fiona Hawthorne stood out in a bright yellow scarf, a flower-print top and fuchsia lipstick.

 Alice in Wonderland actress Jemma Powell also opted to bring her spouse Jack Savoretti, an Italian singer.

The attractive couple wowed, with Jack looking handsome in a navy suit and sunglasses, whilst Gemma wore a pretty white lace dress.

Meanwhle, The Quiet Ones actor Laurie Calvert posed alongside Abigail Johns, both looking rock-chic.

Laurie sported a black Nirvana T-shirt, ripped jeans and a studded jacket, while Abigail wore a black strappy dress with a thigh-high slit and cute polka dot heels.

The stars were out in force to watch Princes William and Harry play in the first match of the Polo Challenge.

The royals are raising money for Sentebale, Tusk, The Royal Marsden and WellChild and have raised £9.5million for charities through various polo tournaments since 2007.

He claims he is happily single and not looking for love – but it seems Prince Harry can’t resist turning on the charm when the opportunity strikes.

Yesterday, pictures emerged of the fifth in line to the throne with his hand on the knee of a pretty Doctor Who actress as they chatted intimately at the polo.

The prince, whom onlookers described as ‘flirty and tactile’, seemed delighted to be in the company of brunette Jenna Coleman, 29, after playing in a charity match last Saturday.

Harry, 30, led the actress by the hand out of the star-studded after-party to chat on a sofa outside.

Miss Coleman, who plays the Time Lord’s assistant Clara Oswald in the hit BBC series, looked delighted at the attention.

The actress is believed to have split up with her long-term boyfriend, Game Of Thrones actor Richard Madden, 28, several months ago, according to the Mirror.

One onlooker said: ‘Harry sneaked outside with Jenna. He took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd in the sponsor’s tent. They sat alone and talked.

‘It was a very flirty, very tactile encounter. She was leaning in to him and he had his hand on her knee. From their body language, it looked like they were really enjoying each other’s company.

‘They were sitting very close, laughing lots and touching each other.' 

Miss Coleman, who was wearing a sultry off-the-shoulder dress, was recently ranked 32nd in a list of the world’s most desirable women. 

Earlier in the day, Harry had played in a polo match in aid of his African charity, Sentebale.

He stayed on afterwards to attend the party in the sponsor’s tent at Coworth Park, Ascot. Another guest said: ‘Everyone had been dancing inside and [the prince and Jenna] were together in a group, but Harry obviously wanted to talk to her alone.’

A spokesman for the prince declined to comment, while the actress’s publicist said they did not discuss her private life.

In a recent interview, Harry said he was content being single, adding: ‘I’m very happy not having a girlfriend. It’s not a case of anything. I’m not, sort of, looking. It’s cool.’

The prince – who is shortly due to leave the Army to focus on charity work – was knighted by the Queen this week for his service to the monarchy.

 

... but is he still hooked on Cressida? 

Doctor Who’s sidekick wasn’t the only woman on the prince’s mind this week.

Just four days after his encounter with Jenna Coleman at the polo, Harry sneaked in after the lights went down to watch his ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas perform in her West End show.

The pair, who were introduced by Harry’s cousin and Miss Bonas’s best friend, Princess Eugenie, suddenly split last spring after two years of dating.

This was said to follow a furious row over a trip to the US to attend the wedding of Harry’s close friend, Guy Pelly.

She has since gone on to become a face of British brand Mulberry, secured a small part in the forthcoming Hollywood film Tulip Fever, and has earned rave reviews for her latest show – An Evening with Lucian Freud at London’s Leicester Square Theatre.

On Wednesday, Harry, dressed inconspicuously in jeans, desert boots and a black baseball cap pulled low over his face, arrived minutes after the play had started to watch his former flame.

Miss Bonas is the only on-stage performer in the production, starring as art student Laura who writes to Lucian Freud and finds herself drawn into his world.

ITV newscaster Alastair Stewart, stargazer Russell Grant and actress Maureen Lipman all have filmed cameo roles in the show.

It was not the first time the prince and Miss Bonas have been seen together since their split, having been photographed at the cinema with friends. 

Harry also went to support the actress at one of her earlier productions.

On Wednesday, he was accompanied by nightclub owner Mr Pelly and his American wife, Elizabeth. 

Harry stayed at the theatre for half an hour after the play had finished, before slipping out of the front door and walking to his Audi parked nearby.

Miss Bonas, meanwhile, left with friends to eat at nearby theatreland favourite J Sheekey.

Friends insist the pair are not back together, although admit Harry is still extremely fond of his ex-girlfriend.

They got engaged last week after a year and a half of dating and Heidi Range and fiance Alex Partakis could not be happier. 

The couple put on an affectionate display at the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park, Ascot, on Sunday afternoon.

Former Sugababes singer Heidi, 32, was stunning in a midi floral dress and nude heels but it was her huge smile which really grabbed attention.

The Push the Button hit-maker revealed in an interview with the Scottish Daily Record published just before the engagement announcement that she was hoping for a proposal, but didn't want to jinx things.

'I try not to think about it – I could be waiting a long time', she joked when asked whether an engagement was on the cards.
