Cinderella stars Lily James and Richard Madden get steamy in first promo poster for Kenneth Branagh's on-stage adaptation of Romeo and Juliet

They might have starred together in the U-rated film Cinderella, but their next role looks anything but tame.

Lily James, 26, and Richard Madden, 29, have reunited to appear in the stage adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, and it seems like it's going to be a rather steamy affair.

In the first promo image of the couple in full costume, the star-crossed lovers from the rival Montague and Capulet families are seen in a passionate embrace.

Juliet (Lily) clutches onto her lover's shirt suggestively, while Romeo (Richard) cradles her head in his hands.

With their mouths open seductively and both wearing nightwear, it suggests the adaptation won't shy away from the sexual tone of William Shakespeare's heartbreaking tale of forbidden love.

It's being directed by Kenneth Branagh - who also directed the film Cinderella - with Derek Jacobi, 77, playing the role of Mercutio.

Romeo and Juliet will play at the Garrick Theatre, London, from 12 May to 13 August 2016 but is also being broadcast live across cinemas in the UK and internationally on 7 July 2016, tickets of which went on sale today.

Meanwhile, Game of Thrones actor Richard has been keeping busy filming TV drama Medici: Masters of Florence in the Italian city.

Richard, who plays Cosimo de' Medici, was seen on set in a luxurious black tunic, with baggy ruffled sleeves, fastened up the breast with chunky silver buttons.

Set among Florence's awe-inspiring architecture, the programme looked to be a richly crafted production, keen to portray a faithful historical representation of the era in which it is set.  

Lily, on the other hand, will return to screens in the TV adaptation of War and Peace in 2016.

She's also set to play Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which is slated for a 5 February 2016 release in the US and a UK release the following week.

For the fans: Romeo and Juliet will play at the Garrick Theatre, London, from 12 May to 13 August 2016 but is also being broadcast live across cinemas in the UK and internationally on 7 July 2016

Dr Who star Jenna Coleman risked flashing her cheeks as she headed out for a romantic stroll with her boyfriend in London on Friday.

The petite TV star, 27, who has been dating Game Of Thrones' Richard Madden, 26, for two years opted for a floaty three-quarter length skirt for a lunch date.

But with a dramatic split up the side, she almost risked flashing everyone as her skirt caught caught by the wind.

The cute brunette looked incredibly sweet as she headed to meet her lover in Marlebone on Saturday.

She had something of a bohemian feel to her outfit as she swished along in a skirt that dipped down to her calves.

The skirt had a light and floral pattern on it, showing Jenna was ready for some summer weather.

She teamed her skirt with a black jumper and also wandered around in flip flops and carried a dark green bag that was a little like a satchel.

The TV babe was texting as she walked along the pavements to meet her boyfriend and that was when an unexpected gust of wind almost caused her a severe embarrassment.

With a daring slit up the side of her skirt, the breeze caught the fabric and sent her skirt floating upwards, almost raising high enough to flash her buttocks.

Reaching her boyfriend at a nearby pub, she managed to get her outfit under control, taking a seat across the table from her beau.

The two make for a very attractive couple with Jenna's cute-as-a-button and wholesome appearance - and Richards ruggedly handsome chiseled looks.

The two sat across from each other, peacefully gazing and chatting affectionately - only being distracted by a waitress who took their order and a man dressed as Spiderman.

After enjoying some refreshing water and light bites together, the two headed for a stroll, walking hand in hand as they went.

They wandered up the street to nearby Regent's Park where they enjoyed some of the afternoon sunshine together.

Richard had a vague nautical style as he wore a striped long-sleeved T-shirt designed by COMME des GARÇONS for his day out.

He, like Jenna, also opted for flip-flops as footwear and, unlike Jenna, wore a pair of black jeans.

Later the pair went to a bar where they sat outside and enjoyed some cocktails with Jenna opting for an espresso martini and Richard knocking back a cosmopolitan.

While there, they laughed and talked together and also took some time to take a few photographs together on Jenna's iPhones and Richard's professional camera.

The romantic day comes just a month after Jenna revealed to Radio Times that she had never been on a date in her life.

Revealing herself too shy to have been on a date, she said: 'I think it was going from eight people in a tiny, tiny school to being surrounded by loads of people. I shrank away, surrounded myself with quite loud friends.'

She continued: 'I’ve got a lot better as I’ve got older. If I’m with a group of people I’m okay, but actually I’m quite a nervous person if I’m just one-to-one with somebody.'

Jenna-Louise Coleman and Richard Madden may just be the ultimate couple in the eyes of their cult fans.

The two stars looked picture perfect as they attended the third season premiere of Game Of Thrones at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The good looking couple took centre stage as they walked down the red carpet on Monday night.

Jenna-Louise, 26, looked sublime in her black dress that featured a plunging neckline, which she teamed with a belt and matching handbag.

She wore her long brunette hair up and made sure that she was fully tanned up as her sun kissed skin added the finishing touch to her outfit.

Richard, who plays Robb Stark in the fantasy TV series, cut a dapper figure in a sharp black suit as he teamed it with a dark grey tie and a crisp white shirt.

The pair have no shortage of fans since they both feature heavily in cult television shows Game Of Thrones and Doctor Who.

Coleman plays Clara, the latest assistant to the Doctor, and it was a role welcomed by her boyfriend who is himself a big fan of the show.

Richard told Mail Online, last year: 'I think I was more excited than she was when she got the role. I was like 'What?' It's one of my favourite shows. I'd love to be in Doctor Who.'

The modest Madden met his beautiful girlfriend in 2011 in Budapest as she was filming Titanic and he was working on the BBC drama Birdsong.

Speaking to the Evening Standard earlier this year, Jenna-Louise, who has previously appeared in Emmerdale and Captain America: The First Avenger, said: 'Budapest is always full of English actors.

'When we were there The Borgias and World Without End were also filming, and we’d all go out for drinks in these amazing ruin bars—derelict buildings with bars in the central courtyards.'

Star of the show Peter opted for a suit in black, but decided to play it cool with his footwear by slipping on a pair of beaten up boots.

His wife Erica Schmidt played it safe in all black while adding some colour with her white boots.

The new series of Game of Thrones kicks off on HBO on Easter Sunday, March 31.
