The busy starlet has a number of film projects on the horizon, including the star-studded sequel Machete Kills where she'll join Danny Trejo, Sofía Vergara, Mel Gibson, Vanessa Hudgens, Charlie Sheen, and Lady Gaga.
In the highly-anticipated Robert Rodriguez flick, the U.S. government recruits Machete (Trejo) to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer (Gibson) who's set to launch a weapon into space.
Alba is also preparing for the release of her book in March, when Rodale will publish her The Honest Life, a guide to natural and non-toxic living.
