Nothing beats a bit of self promotion: Rihanna commands attention in shots for Barbados tourism campaign

And combining the two, on Sunday the 24-year-old uploaded an image of herself taken from her tourism campaign for the island of Barbados.

With her raven locks partially covering her face, Rihanna stares dead into the camera lens as she puts her svelte frame on display in the all-in-one.
A pair of hooped earrings, several rings, a necklace and body chain completes her look.
Another frame sees the fresh faced chart-topper bending forward as she gets a feel for the water.
Backed by the stunning view of rocky mountains and the ocean, Rihanna proves that she was the perfect choice to be the face of the 431 square kilometres haven.

With her long curly hair tucked under a blue and white patterned cap, Rihanna slips into a white bikini top and a pair of Daisy Dukes.
The campaign – which includes a promotional video – is the second part of an advertising drive, launched by the Barbados Tourism Authority, seeking to capitalise on the global fame of the Caribbean island’s most celebrated figure.

Placed in a very different setting from her tourism campaign, on Monday Rihanna, real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was pictured arriving at JFK.
Ready to brave the chill of the city, the singer wore a large fur jacket which featured burnt orange leather sleeves as she strutted through the terminal.
Showcasing her newly cut pixie crop complete with blonde highlights, Fenty hid her eyes behind a pair of blacked out sunglasses.

The Umbrella singer, wore her luxury warmer over a denim jacket embellished with gold studs.
Daring to do double denim, the stylish star wore distressed loose fitted jeans with a pair of tanned Timberland boots.
Rihanna matched her scarlet talons to her lips as she appeared to make her way through the airport without her entourage.
Making time for her supporters, the Barbados native stopped to take a few photographs with fans, before heading onto her next location.

Prior to flying out to New York City, Rihanna stopped traffic in Los Angeles to play wildlife photographer as she snapped pictures of wild deer enjoying the morning sunlight.
Not quite on an exotic safari, the Stay songstress asked her driver to stop the car so she could shoot through the window on busy Sunset Boulevard.
Rihanna was obviously proud of her efforts, posting the scenic picture on Twitter for her fans to see with the caption: 'Mondayz'.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that rapper A$AP Rocky, who will be supporting Rihanna on her Diamonds World Tour, will be touring the UK in May.
