Her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown voluntarily entered rehab on Tuesday after being arrested again for an alleged assault.
And only a couple of hours later, Rihanna uploaded a slew of sexy bikini photos to her Instagram profile.
The 25-year-old singer was lounging by a delightful-looking swimming pool in the Dominican Republic when she engaged her photographer friends to go snap happy on her while she worked on her best angles.

Rihanna struck poses in a tiny pink and yellow triangle bikini, which she accessorised with giant hoop earrings, fingers full of rings and, of course, her array of tattoos.
In a series of snaps shared by the star to her millions of social media followers, she displays her truly expert ability to be nothing but photogenic in every shot.
In the shots, the singer closes her eyes and lets her beached-out hair fall across her face as she leans on the edge of the pool, then she places her hands strategically over her chest beneath the water, and later she tosses her head and arches her back to the sun.

In one shot, she and her assistant Jennifer Rosales can even be seen submerging themselves in the water and simultaneously managing to drink bottled beverages.
The Stay songstress was on the picturesque Caribbean island as part of her Diamonds World Tour.
The photoshoot upload came just a couple of hours after her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's representation announced that the troubled star voluntarily entered rehab following his arrest for alleged assault in Washington DC.

His rep confirmed the news to E! on Tuesday evening in a statement which came just one day after his assault charge was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor.
'Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility,' the statement read. 'His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behaviour, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.'

Earlier on Tuesday, Chris posted a cryptic tweet which read: 'In order to go where u have never gone u have to be willing to go where u never been!!!! #OHB! CBE!'
And later in the day, his current girlfriend Karrueche Tran - who reportedly took Chris to rehab along with his mother - posted a photo of the pair of them kissing, with a caption that read 'Always & Forever'.

Chris and Rihanna split after he physically assaulted her in 2009 and left her with significant facial injuries, a charge for which he is still on probation.
The Pour It Up starlet moved on to much greener pastures, but they briefly reconciled before breaking up again earlier year.
