She's X Factor's golden girl: Tamera Foster returns to blonde as she unveils new hairstyle ahead of week three

She underwent a make-over ahead of the first live shows of the X Factor – which involved a fringe and darker locks.
But as Tamera Foster gears up for week three of the show, she clearly fancied going back to blonde as she paid a visit to the ITV show’s hairdresser Jamie Stevens on Friday.
And after some pimping and preening, the 16-year-old emerged with warm blonde locks falling in loose curls around her shoulders and a big smile on her face.

Before: Tamera arrived with a fringe and with darker hair - which was a look given to her in the first week
Ahead of her hair cutting session the pretty singer arrived with her dark locks piled on top of her head with her dark brown fringe framing her face.
Looking already like a pop star the Gravesend born star wore a pair of high waisted black leggings with a white crop top and matching white heels.
As Tamera entered the salon a stylist was seen holding blonde extensions ready to put in her hair and it wasn’t long until Jamie got to work on her locks.

And as the final touches were done to her hair, Tamera couldn’t contain her happiness and was seen laughing away.
This weekend sees the contestants try their hand at classic movie soundtracks with Tamera channelling Beyoncé and Broadway as she takes on Dreamgirls’ Listen – which may explain her choice of hairstyle for the week.
It wasn’t however just Tamera who paid a visit to the salon – it was a very big occasion for Luke Friend who had his hair washed for the first time in over a year.

The 17-year-old looked a little hesitant as he sat down in the hair dressing chair, ready for Jamie to take a look.
The hairdresser to the stars was seen tentatively smelling the youngster’s ‘dreadlocks’ before giving them a good old rinse.
The shampoo-shy singer was even given a couple of highlights to complete his new look.

Speaking after hitting the salon, he said: ‘My hair didn't particularly smell to be honest but now it's had a good wash I'll definitely be burying my head in Nicole's face and seeing if it works!’
Luke and his new locks will be singing Kiss From A Rose when he takes to the stage during Movie Week.
The X Factor continues on Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
